With Joe Biden’s Presidency an unmitigated disaster, some Democrats have begun calling for the Party to replace him in 2024.
Those in Congress have mostly avoided stating a position that could have any sort of impact on their own shaky political aspirations.
So jaws dropped when Adam Schiff admitted this reason he’s one of the Democrats pushing to retire Joe Biden.
President Joe Biden’s worst enemy is Joe Biden.
That was proven once again during Biden’s recent trip to the Middle East to beg Saudi Arabia for the very oil he’s vowed to eliminate since the 2020 campaign.
The fact that “climate crusader” Joe Biden was cruising around the world in a Boeing 747 begging for fossil fuels aside, the President wasn’t doing himself many favors attempting to cozy up to Saudi Arabia.
After all, then-candidate Joe Biden did vow in 2020 to make the Saudi government “pay the price and make them, in fact, the pariah that they are,” after the CIA said Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman likely ordered the killing of Washington Post columnist Jamal Khashoggi in 2018.
And it didn’t help matters that after President Biden broke said vow and went to Saudi Arabia to beg for oil, the Crown Prince pretty much told him he’d come all that way for nothing.
“Prince Mohammed bin Salman says Saudi Arabia is almost tapped out on increasing oil production,” Fox News reported. “The Saudi prince said that they will not have the capacity to produce beyond 13 million barrels per day.”
“According to the US Energy Information Administration, the country is currently producing approximately 10,211,000 barrels of crude oil per day,” the report continued.
Joe Biden went all that way, burnt what little cred he had to basically get a pat on the head from Saudi Arabia, and a token gesture to get him to go away.
To make matters worse, it’s opened Biden up to attacks from within his own party by people who’d love nothing more than to use his demise to elevate themselves.
And few in Congress love attempting to destroy someone to elevate their own status more than Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) – just ask Donald Trump.
Congressman Schiff saw President Biden’s fist bump with the Crown Prince as the perfect opportunity to let all the radical leftists know that, unlike Biden, he was still fully committed to their Marxist “Green New Deal” efforts to completely eliminate fossil fuels without a viable alternative.
“If we ever needed a visual reminder of the continuing grip oil-rich autocrats have on U.S. foreign policy in the Middle East, we got it today,” Schiff tweeted. “One fist bump is worth a thousand words.”

With Joe Biden’s sinking approval rating, it shouldn’t be a surprise to see sitting members of Congress begin to distance themselves from the President.
Nevertheless, it’s so extraordinarily rare in Washington, D.C., it’s clear Rep. Schiff has ulterior motives.
It’s no secret that Schiff would love nothing more than to move up the Democrat Party’s ranks, and he certainly has his eyes on succeeding Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) as Democrats’ Congressional leader, sooner rather than later.
And with the Democrat Party’s radical base demanding candidates and policies just to the Left of Chairman Mao, there’s no better way to defeat Pelosi than to go even further to the Left than she already is.
It was just an added bonus for Schiff that he was able to use the President of the United States as that launching pad.
