President Trump and his legal team spent the past two months legally contesting the results of the election over allegations of widespread voter fraud committed by Democrats on November 3.
Trump refused to quit fighting until his team pursued every legal route possible.
And jaws dropped when President Trump released this statement about conceding the election to Joe Biden.
Last Wednesday, hundreds of thousands of Trump supporters attended the “March to Save America” rally in Washington, D.C.
After the rally, rioters illegally entered the Capitol, forcing members of Congress to delay voting to certify the results of the Electoral College until police regained control of the building.
Once the police cleared the building, Congress reconvened later that night in order to work through any objections and certify the results of the Electoral College, officially making Joe Biden the President-elect.
Dan Scavino, Social Media Director for President Trump, released a statement from President Trump following the vote that made jaws drop.
“Even though I totally disagree with the outcome of the election, and the facts bear me out, nevertheless there will be an orderly transition on January 20th,” said Trump in the statement.
“While this represents the end of the greatest first term in presidential history, it’s only the beginning of our fight to Make America Great Again,” declared Trump.
President Trump also assured the American people that he pursued all legal routes before conceding to Joe Biden, writing “I have always said we would continue our fight to ensure that only legal votes were counted.”
Of course, President Trump wasn’t able to release this message himself due to Big Tech kicking him off every major social media platform.
But this was the first time President Trump acknowledged Joe Biden as the official President-elect.
