The most important battle of Joe Biden’s Presidency is underway with the looming Supreme Court vacancy.
There is little room for mistakes.
And jaws dropped when Trey Gowdy pointed out the huge error Joe Biden already made at the Supreme Court.
Left-wing Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer recently announced his plans to retire this fall.
This gives Joe Biden an opportunity to make a lasting imprint on the Supreme Court.
However, Biden is already facing a major problem.
During the 2020 Presidential campaign, Biden pledged to only consider a black female for a position on the Supreme Court.
On Sunday, Trey Gowdy explained to his viewers on Fox News Channel why Biden’s race-based qualifications are foolish and absurd.
By publicly declaring he would only nominate a black female for the Supreme Court, Gowdy said Biden gave the impression that qualifications mean absolutely nothing at all.
“All Biden had to do was say he was going to find the most qualified person for the job, period. That list would have undoubtedly included black women, and he could have picked one of those black women. But he didn’t do that. He wanted to make a political point. He wanted to help himself, and in the process, he sent the wrong message. Black women do not need to compete merely among themselves for one to prevail. They can, and should, and do prevail no matter the competition. I’ve seen it countless times. You should look for it yourself,” Gowdy began.
As Gowdy then pointed out, Biden claiming he wanted a diverse Supreme Court is nonsense, as Biden filibustered Janice Rogers Brown and Miguel Estrada’s nominations for the Circuit Court of Appeals positions during the Bush administration because Democrats feared he would appoint them as the first black female and first Hispanic Supreme Court Justices.
“Joe Biden now claims he wants a Court that looks like America, despite the fact that he whiffed when he could have done that in the past. In the process, he has refused to do the one thing that looks the very most like America – picking the most qualified person. I have every confidence that would have been a black woman. I wish you did too, Mr. President,” Gowdy told viewers.
