The first six months of Joe Biden’s Presidency have been rough for White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki.
And the future doesn’t look much better.
That’s because Jen Psaki just made one admission that could land Joe Biden in front of the Supreme Court.
Psaki gave the White House press briefing last Thursday.
The Biden mouthpiece announced the administration recently began putting pressure on Facebook to remove content about the coronavirus vaccine that Biden does not believe the American people have the right to read.
“We’re flagging problematic posts for Facebook that spread disinformation,” Psaki told the White House press corp about Biden’s Communist Chinese-style social media-censorship campaign.
Aside from banning certain individuals, Jen Psaki then demanded that Facebook also change its algorithm to quickly suppress any posts that are contrary to the Biden administration’s claims about the Coronavirus vaccine.
“Facebook should provide, publicly and transparently, data on the reach of COVID-19 vaccine misinformation, not just engagement, but the reach of the misinformation and the audience that it’s reaching,” Psaki stated. “That will help us ensure we’re getting accurate information to people. This should be provided not just to researchers but to the public so that the public knows and understands what is accurate and inaccurate.”
It got even more troubling from there as Psaki went on to admit that Joe Biden has an enemies list.
She confirmed 12 specific accounts – though experts suggest there are likely far more – that the Biden administration asked Facebook to ban from the platform immediately.
“There’s about 12 people who are producing 65% of anti-vaccine misinformation on social media platforms,” Psaki added. “All of them remain active on Facebook, despite some even being banned on other platforms, including Facebook, ones that Facebook owns.”
But Psaki’s admission also means that Facebook now qualifies as a state actor by most accounts, which means they cannot infringe upon First Amendment freedoms.
Until now, Facebook attempted to claim it was a “private company,” meaning it wasn’t subject to Constitutional limits on speech.
However, Psaki’s admission that Biden is asking Facebook to censor certain individuals pushes Facebook out of the “private company” realm into being considered a government agent.
This new revelation could have far-reaching legal implications if conservatives sue Facebook for ideological censorship.
