The last few weeks have been brutal for White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki.
She doesn’t like to answer the tough questions.
And Jen Psaki turned red with rage after a Fox News reporter asked her this one question about Joe Biden’s border policy.
During Monday’s White House Press Briefing, Fox News correspondent Kristin Fisher asked Jen Psaki about the rapid flip flop Joe Biden executed with regard to Donald Trump’s cap on refugees.
After the Biden administration sent out a memo on Friday explaining why it would keep the 15,000 cap on refugees put in place by Donald Trump, radical liberals like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez blasted Joe Biden for going back on his campaign promise to raise the number of refugees from 15,000 to 62,500 during his first year.
Within a few hours, Biden caved in to AOC’s demands, putting out another statement saying the Trump-era limit of 15,000 refugees would be lifted by May 15.
And on Monday, Kristin Fisher asked Psaki if Biden changed his mind because of pressure from the radical Left.
“I’m still just a little bit confused about what changed between 1 p.m. on Friday and 4:30 p.m. on Friday to go from ‘We’re not raising the refugee cap,’ to ‘We are raising it by May 15,’” Fisher asked. “What changed in those three-and-a-half hours?”
As usual, Psaki danced around the question, claiming there was no shift in policy because the first memo sent out contained a caveat that Trump’s limit could be lifted further down the road.
“We never said we’re not raising the refugee cap,” Psaki shot back. “In the morning we said, actually, with the information we put out, once we reach 15,000, we will raise it. That was not accounted for.”
“So are you saying this had nothing to do with the pushbacks from Democrats on Capitol Hill?” Fisher responded.
“I don’t think you’ve articulated to me what our change in policy was,” said Psaki, defying all logic and honesty by claiming there was no change in the policy.
“What was our change in policy from the morning to the afternoon?” Psaki added, before demanding Fisher explain what the change in policy was.
“It is if you’re asking a question,” Psaki icily shot back.
Of course, Jen Psaki isn’t used to being challenged during her press briefings. She’s used to getting nothing but softball questions from friendly members of the press.
But when Fox News, Newsmax or others get a chance to challenge her, she never fails to blow a gasket and get angry.
