Fox News host Jesse Watters just stunned Democrats with a reality check they’ve been avoiding for months.
The popular primetime anchor pointed out what should be obvious to everyone in Washington.
And Jesse Watters just unleashed a scathing truth bomb that will leave leftists clutching their pearls.
In a devastating monologue on his Fox News show, Jesse Watters delivered the harsh verdict on why Democrats keep failing with the American people.
“Democrats aren’t even trying to solve problems. They’re just complaining about how Trump is solving the problems they created,” Watters said during his opening segment on Jesse Watters Primetime.
His observation couldn’t be more timely as Democrats continue their bizarre behavior six months after Trump’s landslide victory.
While President Trump is hard at work securing the border, fighting crime, and planning a patriotic military parade to honor our troops, Democrats are busy taking artsy photoshoots in their socks and attending the Met Gala.
Watters pointed to Vice President Kamala Harris’s tone-deaf appearance at the ultra-elite Met Gala, where tickets cost a staggering $75,000.
Even Democrat strategist Dan Turrentine admitted the optics were terrible: “Kamala’s Achilles is she is seen as out-of-touch and elitist. Nothing is more out-of-touch and elitist than the Met Gala.”
Meanwhile, other Democrat elites participated in a bizarre photoshoot for The New Yorker where they posed in their living rooms. Al Sharpton was photographed in his socks with a portrait of himself on the wall. AOC was shown knitting in her socks, and Alex Soros was pictured in a penthouse wearing “money-colored clothes” while sitting cross-legged.
“What’s worse, crossing your legs or leaning in?” Watters quipped.
The Fox News host didn’t stop there. He called out Democrats for opposing Trump’s proposed military parade to honor our armed forces.
“Trump’s throwing a parade for the military in D.C. and Democrats are against it,” Watters noted, playing a clip of CNN contributor Charles Blow calling the parade a “we’ve got to waste money on a military parade” that feeds Trump’s “inner monster.”
Even more disturbing was the complete disconnect that Democrat lawmakers have with reality. Watters highlighted an exchange between Rep. Rosa DeLauro (D-CT) and Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem about FEMA’s failures.
When Secretary Noem pointed out that “we still have claims open from Hurricane Katrina” and that some fire victims haven’t been paid by FEMA for 7-10 years, DeLauro seemed completely unaware of these facts.
“How does a congresswoman not know FEMA has failed? How does she not know hurricane and fire victims are still waiting for relief? How does she not know that?” Watters asked incredulously.
The core of Watters’ message was something Democrats have forgotten: public service means serving the public.
“You said you wanted Trump to fight crime and close the border, and he is. That’s what it means to be a public servant. You serve the people, and then the people like you,” Watters explained.
“Public servants are humble. They know they’re there to serve the people. Democrats are so caught up in serving themselves, they forgot what their job is. It’s not telling people what to do. It’s asking, what can I do for you?”
Even California Governor Gavin Newsom admitted Democrats got “crushed” in the election, but seemed confused about why. “Was it because of the incumbency penalty? Was it because of inflation? Was it because of interest rates? Was it because of immigration? Was it because we were too ‘woke’?” Newsom wondered.
Watters had the perfect comparison: “In the NFL, Teams know why they lost on Monday. They look at the score, watch the tape, and read the stats. We couldn’t run the ball, we couldn’t get to the quarterback, too many penalties. They figure it out, and they prepare for next Sunday. Why is it taking Democrats so long to get it together?”
The answer may lie in what Nancy Pelosi said. The 84-year-old former Speaker still hasn’t gotten the message, telling viewers, “We have to make sure the public knows what is in their interest.”
Watters translated: “You don’t know what’s in your own interest until Pelosi tells you. She thinks you’re too stupid to know what’s good for you.”
Between aging leaders like 84-year-old James Clyburn (who said giving up his position would mean “What do you want? Me to give up my life?”) and the radical young wing like AOC, Democrats are heading toward a breakup.
So what’s their solution? According to Watters, they’re “going to therapy” with liberal writer Ezra Klein at their annual retreat in Mount Vernon.
But as Watters concluded, referencing his book “Get It Together”: “You have to be able to fix yourself before you start fixing others.”
