Democrats are getting fed up with Joe Biden.
Biden keeps claiming he plans to run for re-election, but he’s getting a whole lot of nothing done.
And Jill Biden just revealed the train wreck ahead for Democrats as 2024 speeds toward them.
Since back in 2021, President Joe Biden has been claiming he will run again in 2024.
But he’s found one excuse after the next to delay.
First, he was waiting to get past the Midterm elections.
Then he waffled and claimed he needed to discuss his family with an announcement planned for immediately after the holidays.
But with the official beginning of spring mere weeks away, Biden continues to hedge.
Long delays when they need to be kicking into full on battle mode is frustrating many of those deeply entrenched in the Democrat Party.
Polling has proven what is abundantly obvious: the majority of Americans –which includes a majority of Democrats –already know Biden is not mentally fit for the office of President.
And they made it clear when polled that they don’t want him to seek a second term.
President Biden would be the oldest Democrat presidential candidate ever, turning 82 in 2024.
If he were elected again he would be 86-years-old by the end of his term.
Concerns about his age are exacerbated by the early onset dementia that is clearly worsening, based on his public appearances.
CNN’s Arlette Saenz recently tried to get to the bottom of the President’s plans for 2024 while interviewing First Lady Jill Biden.
Saenz pointed out that her husband cracked a joke in an earlier interview saying he had to call Jill to find out whether or not he was running for re-election.
Rather than make a clever comeback, Jill Biden pretended to be ignorant of her husband’s quip.
“I must have missed it,” she told Saenz.
“Where do things stand?” Saenz persisted. “When’s an announcement coming?”
“Well, he said he intends to run,” the first lady replied. “So, nothing’s been planned yet.”
No doubt, that honesty has Democrats cringing.
Not only is Biden holding the party hostage and preventing Democrats from running, according to the First Lady his handlers don’t have any plans in place.
Jill Biden went on to claim the announcement about her husband’s political future has been delayed because the President is “so busy with being in Ukraine, handling some of the crises at home.”
“So, I think, you know, he’s now – he’s putting that first,” she claimed. “He’s putting America’s business before he’s putting his own.”
Never mind, that pouring billions of dollars in taxpayer money also with weapons for his proxy with Russia via Ukraine is not serving America’s national interest.
Saenz made another push to squeeze some information out of the first lady.
“But has the decision been made amongst the family that he’s going to run?” Saenz asked.
“Well, it’s Joe’s really—it’s Joe’s decision,” Jill Biden hedged. “And we support whatever he wants to do. If he’s in, we’re there. If he wants to do something else, we’re there too.”
The CNN reporter tried one last trick asking if there is “any chance at this point that he’s not going to run?”
And what Jill Biden had to say will leave Americans everywhere cringing.
“Not in my book,” Jill Biden said.
“You’re all for it?” Saenz asked.
“I’m all for it, of course,” Jill Biden responded.
More and more Democrats are hoping against hope Biden will bow out gracefully.
But with his wife pushing for an all-out effort to stay in power it’s more than likely Joe Biden will power ahead with a reelection campaign in 2024.
