Democrats know that it’s in Kamala Harris’ best interest to distance her from President Joe Biden and the failed Biden-Harris regime.
The Democrat President and his family on the other hand seemingly couldn’t care less.
And now Jill Biden has stormed back on the campaign scene with a vengeance and blindsided everyone with this 2024 announcement.
Is Kamala in trouble?
According to a report from The Hill entitled “Democrats start to hit the panic button,” Democrats are beginning to worry that they may not be able to fool voters into electing Vice President Kamala Harris after all.
Her handlers obviously spent the first two and a half months of the Kamala campaign keeping her hidden from the public, especially when it came to speaking to the media unscripted, based on the belief that a media-manufactured hype train coupled with a few bumps in polling in the wake of the Democrat National Convention and a Presidential debate in which the deck was stacked against former President Donald Trump, would be enough to carry her to victory.
But the post-DNC and debate polling bumps Democrats expected never really came.
Rather than seeing Kamala’s poll numbers slowly increase as the election draws nearer, Democrats are seeing her on a clear downswing roughly two weeks out from Election Day.
“Now that the sugar high is gone, people have realized what Kamala Harris has said from the start, which is that she is the underdog,” Biden-Harris regime official Anthony Coley told The Hill. “This is going to be a fight… These numbers are just so stubborn.”
What’s especially troubling for Kamala and her fellow Democrats is the fact that she’s not only polling significantly worse overall against Trump at this point in the race than both former First Lady Hillary Clinton in 2016 and President Joe Biden in 2020, she’s also failing to garner the same level of support from key Democrat voting blocs as every other Democrat nominee has for decades.
For instance, according to countless reports, exit polling indicated that Biden secured over 90% of the black vote in 2020 – which is roughly in line with the level of support most every Democrat Presidential candidate has received from black voters since the 1960s.
But the latest poll from The New York Times and Siena College Research Institute indicated that Kamala has the support of just 78% of black voters.
One Hail Mary after another
Now, Democrats are desperate to turn the tide with black voters, Hispanic voters, young voters, union voters, and many more key voting blocs they’re struggling with in the final weeks of the campaign, so they’re calling in the big guns – First Lady Jill Biden.
“First lady Jill Biden is hitting the campaign trail for Vice President Harris, embarking on a battleground state swing less than a month before Election Day,” The Hill reported. “Her trip starts Friday with a campaign event in Yuma, Ariz., and then she will campaign in Phoenix on Saturday. On Sunday, the first lady will visit northern Nevada and then will travel to the Detroit suburbs and to Madison, Wis.,”
“Biden will be in her hometown of Philadelphia on Tuesday, courting voters in the suburbs for Harris,” the report added.
While the Kamala campaign’s recent decision to deploy former President Barack Obama onto the campaign trail for the sole purpose of scolding black men as “sexist” for not dutifully falling in line behind Kamala was a clear act of desperation that backfired on them, the decision to get Jill Biden on the campaign trail may prove to be even more costly.
The fact is, the 73-year-old, white spouse of a failed President won’t move the needle – not even in the slightest – with the demographics Kamala seems to be struggling with most.
Furthermore, putting the First Lady front and center in the closing weeks of the race will only serve to keep the fact that Kamala is part of possibly the worst Presidential regime in history, and is therefore also responsible for all the suffering they’ve endured over the past four years, top of mind for voters as they cast their ballots.
But that’s just how desperate the Kamala campaign is – they’re literally throwing everything they can against the wall but nothing is sticking with voters.
And unless she has a miracle up her sleeve, it doesn’t seem as though Jill Biden will be the answer to Kamala Harris’ big dilemma.
