Jim Jordan is clearly at the end of his rope with New York Attorney General Letitia James.

Much to her demise, Jordan has signaled his willingness to use the full power of his office to pursue accountability.

And Jim Jordan just sent this one legal demand to Letitia James that puts everything on the line.

Alvin Bragg’s witch hunt against Trump catches Jim Jordan’s attention

House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan (R-OH) is leading an ongoing investigation into the Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg for his biased targeting of Donald Trump through politically engineered lawsuits.

In the Congressional investigation, Jordan has begun looking into Matthew Colangelo, who serves as the number three top official within Joe Biden’s Justice Department.

Apparently, Colangelo was caught visiting Alvin Bragg in his Manhattan office during the months leading up to Bragg’s indictment of former President Donald Trump.

As a result, Jordan filed a request for the Judiciary Committee to obtain records from all of Colangelo’s previous employers.

This, in turn, would include the New York Attorney General’s office, where Bragg and Colangelo had worked together in the past.

Bragg used his record of relentless lawsuits against Trump while working in the New York AG’s office as the foundation of his campaign for Manhattan District Attorney.

He argued that he would be best suited for the job by focusing solely on investigating Trump.

Jordan hits James with a threat to subpoena

In May, Jordan issued a letter to James where he requested documents related to Colangelo’s employment in her office.

He had pointed out that his record of hopping from job to job created a gruesome suspicion that Colangelo was merely looking for the best ways to terrorize Trump via lawfare.

“The fact that a former senior Biden DOJ official – whose previous employment consisted of leading ‘a wave of state litigation against Trump administration policies’ – is now leading the prosecution of President Biden’s chief political rival only adds to the perception that the Biden DOJ is politicized and weaponized,” noted Jordan in his letter to James.

“Mr. Colangelo’s recent employment history demonstrates his obsession with investigating a person rather than prosecuting a crime,” he added.

As expected, James completely ignored Jordan’s request.

This resulted in Jordan sending a subsequent letter where he threatened to subpoena, arguing that “the Committee is prepared to resort to compulsory process to obtain compliance with our requests.”

Alvin Bragg agrees to testify before Congress

As the web of communication, coordination and alliances continue to be exposed, Bragg’s already frail case is appearing to be much worse than originally suspected.

Colangelo, who was on Democrat National Committee payroll in 2018  for political consulting, is known for bouncing from job to job based on where investigations into Trump existed.

With Bragg’s case, he had clearly manufactured a wild legal theory where he unconstitutionally seized the power to prosecute federal law as a mere county level prosecutor.

Both Bragg and Colangelo will be appearing before Congress on July 12.

Although he succumbed to pressure by Congress to testify, it wasn’t without some kicking and screaming.

Bragg issued a childish statement where he whined about the prior consensus of there being no case, arguing that his judicial persecution against Donald Trump was righteous.

“The Manhattan D.A.’s Office is proud to play a crucial role in upholding and enforcing the rule of law for the people of New York,” wrote Bragg’s office.

“It undermines the rule of law to spread dangerous misinformation, baseless claims, and conspiracy theories following the jury’s return of a full-count felony conviction in People v. Trump,” continued the statement.

“Nonetheless, we respect our government institutions and plan to appear voluntarily before the subcommittee after sentencing,” concluded Bragg.

The July 12 hearing that Bragg and Colangelo will be appearing at is just one day after avid Joe Biden campaign donor, and hyper-partisan Democrat, Judge Juan Merchan will deliver his ultimate act of election interference – sentencing Donald Trump.
