Most in the Democrat Party have had their heads buried in the sand.
But a handful are coming to grips with how terrible a situation they face.

On his HBO Real Time show Bill Maher threw a dose of reality on Democrats who have allowed their party to be hijacked by radical leftists.
While Joe Biden’s illegal open border policy is practically begging international criminals to come on in and have their way with America, Maher says he’s blatantly blowing off a massive concern most citizens share.
“Joe Biden famously used the phrase ‘big f—— deal.’ When is he going to understand this is a big f—— deal?” Maher said.
The influential comedian then explained that failing to secure the southern border is a massive political liability for Democrats.
Back in 2016 the leftists obsession with allowing illegal immigration drove British citizens to push the Brexit referendum and fueled Donald Trump’s rise to power.
“This is the same issue as Brexit in England. This is the same issue as Trump voters in America,” Maher said. “And, you know, working-class voters feel like they’ve been ignored and abandoned. […] But that is a reasonable argument, that there’s this elitist group that’s running the world that’s left us behind.”
Pointing out that Democrats have a legitimate gripe with their Party leadership isn’t going to gain Maher any points with radical leftists, but his warning is spot on.
Despite what polls are telling them, Democrats keep pushing open borders to Maher’s chagrin.
He already warned the party in October that Democrats will pay for the waves of illegal aliens flowing into American cities in the 2022 midterm election.
“What do we do about the border?” Maher asked his audience in October. “I feel like this is the Democrats’ version of healthcare for the Republicans. The issue they don’t really address, they don’t seem to really have a plan for it. And always is their Achilles’ heel come election time.”
But hard-core leftists couldn’t care less about their constituents and are pushing hard to end Title 42 which is a pandemic related rule allowing illegals to be deported promptly.
About 221,000 illegal aliens were caught entering the country illegally in March.
An estimated 500,000 illegal aliens are expected to cross over the border every month after the current restriction is lifted.
Democrats are allowing their party to be held hostage by a group that wants nothing more than to destroy our nation—and we can only hope the midterm elections will be enough to render them ineffective.
