Former Clinton and administration Chief of Staff and Obama administration CIA Director Leon Panetta recently sat for an interview with Fox News Bret Baier in which the Special Report host pressed the Deep State elitist on being one of the 51 former “intelligence community” members who signed a letter claiming the contents of Hunter Biden’s infamous “laptop from hell” were a product of so-called “Russian disinformation” during the 2020 election.
The letter served as then-presidential candidate Joe Biden’s biggest piece of evidence to deflect attention from evidence painting him as compromised by Communist China, Ukraine, and other foreign countries with which his son appears to have the Biden family’s alleged influence-peddling schemes.
And it even allowed Democrats’ Big Tech allies to censor what has proven to be credible reporting about the laptop’s contents, as both the Washington Post and New York Times, amongst many other left-wing outlets, have now fully admitted no such “Russian disinformation” was involved.
Nevertheless, Panetta defended his participation in what can now only be described as a propaganda effort, claiming that he was “extremely concerned about Russian interference” due to the so-called “Russian collusion” hoax the Hillary Clinton campaign manufactured during the 2016 election to claim former President Donald Trump had somehow “stolen” the election with the help of Russia, even though that hoax has also been completely and thoroughly debunked.
As a matter of fact, Panetta suggested that even though the laptop’s contents have been verified and the FBI had it in their possession as early as 2019, he’s still not sure the laptop is real because he hasn’t seen any evidence it is real.
“Frankly, I haven’t seen any evidence from any intelligence agency that that was not the case,” Panetta claimed.
A shocked Baier pressed the former CIA Director over whether he was suggesting that he doesn’t believe the laptop is legitimate, causing Panetta to double down on a debunked narrative in order to save face.
“I think that disinformation is involved here,” Panetta declared. “I think Russian disinformation is part of what we’re seeing everywhere. I don’t trust the Russians, and that’s exactly why I was concerned that the public not trust the Russians either.”
And to top it all off, Panetta maniacally proclaimed that he has zero regrets about using his former title to advance a completely debunked propaganda narrative for the sole purpose of interfering in a Presidential election – and potentially helping fuel the slow march to World War III.
“No, I don’t have any regrets about not trusting the Russians,” Panetta concluded.
The ruling class elites’ rage against Donald Trump has warped reality and now something even the staunchest Democrat partisans would have once considered wildly unethical is completely excused.
