One poll after the next has been showing that Democrats want a new nominee on the ticket in 2024.
Now even the Biden-worshiping corporate-controlled media talking heads are fantasizing about a new name heading up the party.
Even Biden, who had been stubbornly sticking to his guns about running again, has started to waver.
During his trainwreck of an interview on 60 Minutes Biden told host Scott Pelley it “remains to be seen” if he’ll run again claiming numerous factors are at play.
Apparently, two of those factors come in the form of leftist Congresswomen.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) delivered a massive blow to Biden’s 2024 hopes when she refused to endorse another round of sticking Sleepy Joe on stage for a series of debates.
“President Joe Biden had an interview on 60 Minutes where he didn’t commit to running for re-election, and I’m wondering if you think he should run in 2024, or do you think the party should pick someone else or—who might be better?” a reporter queried.
“President Biden is the President of the United States. He did a great service to our country,” Pelosi said, playing nice before her claws came out. “He defeated Donald Trump, let’s not forget that.”
Pelosi continued, “If you care about, the air we breathe, the water we drink, the education of our children, jobs for our – our – their families, pensions for their seniors, any subject you can name – I’m not going into politics about whether the president should – should run or not.”
Talk about the ultimate insult.
According to the unwritten rules of the political game, Pelosi’s support for the leader of her political party should be a given.
But Pelosi isn’t the only Democrat dodging questions about loyalty to Biden like the plague.
Socialist Congresswoman Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) piled on with the criticism.
When asked if she would back Biden for a 2024 run she waffled saying, “Should he run again, I think that I – you know, I think it’s—it’s, we’ll take a look at it.”
Before he’s even reached the halfway point in his first term, party leadership is already desperate to make the Biden years little more than a bad memory.
