The American Freedom Convoy was formed to protest tyrannical vaccine mandates, skyrocketing inflation, and devastating open borders.
The Freedom Convoy in Canada certainly showed that the Left does not tolerate dissent.
Now, Biden is proving he’s ready to employ similar heavy-handed tactics to break up a constitutionally-protected peaceful assembly.
At the Commander-in-Chief’s order the Pentagon is set to approve deploying 700 to 800 National Guard service members to block the American Freedom Convoy from convening at the Capitol.
British newspaper The Daily Mail got an exclusive scoop on what’s expected to happen:
The Pentagon is expected to approve the deployment of 700 to 800 unarmed National Guard troops to the nation’s capital, a U.S. official said Tuesday, in the face of trucker convoys that are planning protests against pandemic restrictions beginning next week.
The District of Columbia government – including Democrat Mayor Muriel Bowser – and the U.S. Capitol Police are requesting the National Guard assistance.
The troops would be used largely to help control traffic and are expected to come from the district’s National Guard and three states, said the official, who spoke on condition of anonymity to discuss aid not yet formally approved.
The soldiers are expected to erect blockades and checkpoints to keep the peaceful Freedom Convoy protestors from getting to the Capitol.
That is, if the truckers still show up considering the heavy-handed government preparations.
Capitol Hill Police have already created a Soviet-style security state setting as they put up fencing around the Capitol building.
Having soldiers line the streets is the second part of Biden’s plan to intimidate the protestors with an overwhelming display of force.
This is a repeat performance of what we saw after January 6 when thousands of National Guard soldiers were ordered to stage a military occupation to squash any protests against Joe Biden’s inauguration.
Back in 2016 when Donald Trump was inaugurated, Democrats staged a massive riot where even a limousine was tipped over and set on fire only a short distance from where Trump was in the inauguration parade.
In 2020 Democrats also basically looked away when Marxist Black Lives Matter rioters tried to burn the city down.
Instead of calling out the military, Washington, D.C. Mayor Muriel Bowser painted “Black Lives Matter” on the street.
With peaceful Freedom Convoy truckers on their way to protest Joe Biden’s disastrous presidency, Democrats are doing their level best to make sure a peaceful demonstration is impossible.
