Democrats love to dish up problems other people get to deal with.
But one Republican Governor decided to give Joe Biden a taste of his own medicine.
And now Joe Biden has smoke rolling out of his ears.
Joe Biden is wreaking havoc on the country while his family stays tucked up safe in the White House with a massive Secret Service security detail and millions in the bank to stave off the effects of inflation.
Meanwhile, Americans across the country are left to deal with the reality of how leftist policies are destroying their lives and communities.
The situation is especially dire in states that share a border with Mexico.
Biden’s administration has illegally opened the border and unleashed what Arizona’s Attorney General says amounts to the Constitutional definition of an invasion.
Of course, with a 2,000-mile-long border with Mexico, Texas is smack dab in the middle of an unprecedented crisis.
Communities across the state are being destroyed by a record number of lawless illegal aliens pouring in.
Finally fed up with the situation, Texas’ Republican Governor, Greg Abbott, hatched the perfect plan to get under Joe Biden’s skin.
In April Texas and Arizona started hauling illegal aliens to Washington, D.C. where they were dropped as close as possible to Joe Biden’s front doorstep.
Months later, the program continues to ship illegals to the nation’s capital with more than 125 deliveries and more than 5,000 illegal aliens total.
The federal government should be deporting these immigrants out of the country, or getting out of the way so states can.
Nevertheless, it’s a great troll of the Not In My Backyard (NIMBY) crowd in the nation’s capital.
And even though it’s a drop in the water compared to what border states are dealing with, volunteers for nonprofit organizations in the D.C. area are already overwhelmed.
Now Washington, D.C. mayor and City Council members (all Democrats) are demanding that Joe Biden give them federal assistance with the influx of illegals.
“After three months with no direct support from the District government, they are burned out and overwhelmed,” the Washington, D.C. City Council members wrote in a letter to the mayor asking her to go after federal help. “With the number of buses arriving every day increasing rapidly, we encourage you to mobilize your administration to coordinate with other jurisdictions in the region to step in and assist with the response.”
Mayor Muriel Bowser agreed that the number of illegals flooding in is a “very significant issue.”
She’s called on Joe Biden to lead a “coordinated federal response.”
It’s remarkable how quickly leftists melt down when the problems they created actually come to visit.
A spokeswoman for Governor Abbott says she’s hoping it will cause the Biden regime to wake up.
“Governor Abbott launched Texas’s border bus mission back in April to bring President Biden’s border crisis to his backyard in Washington, D.C., and to help Texas border communities that are being overrun as the federal government dumps migrants in their towns,” Renae Eze, Abbott’s spokeswoman, said in a statement to The Washington Examiner.
“Now, D.C. is experiencing just a fraction of the humanitarian crisis overwhelming our border communities and our state every single day,” She added. “With our nation’s capital finally feeling the pressure of President Biden’s reckless open border policies, it’s time he does his job and secures the border.”
It turns out that The Washington, D.C. Swamp is having trouble handling even a fraction of what lawmakers force the rest of the nation to deal with.
