And they could crater completely after Joe Biden decided to double down on a strategy that turned the public against him in the first place.
Joe Biden is now scheming for a way to use the federal government to force states to mandate the coronavirus vaccine for all citizens.
In particular, the Biden administration is considering threatening to withhold Medicare funds as a way to blackmail states into forcing the coronavirus vaccines on their populations.
The Washington Post reports:
The Biden administration is considering using federal regulatory powers and the threat of withholding federal funds from institutions to push more Americans to get vaccinated — a huge potential shift in the fight against the virus and a far more muscular approach to getting shots into arms, according to four people familiar with the deliberations.
“There is a particular focus in the discussions on whether restrictions on Medicare dollars or other federal funds could be used to persuade nursing homes and other long-term care facilities to require employees to be vaccinated, according to one of the people familiar with the talks,” The Post continued.
Of course, even if the vaccines prove effective, whether or not to take one should be a personal choice for the American people.
After all, if Americans aren’t free to choose what they put in their body, then they are not free.
