Joe Biden just got slapped with one lawsuit he never expected.
He’s being sued after he gave his own church money to do his dirty work.
During his four years in office, Donald Trump did his best to fix the border mess created by previous administrations.
But in a matter of months, Biden managed to undo all of Trump’s work and create absolute chaos like we’ve never seen before.
A watchdog group is now suing Biden’s administration to find out exactly how much money Catholic organizations have been getting to help illegal immigrants crossing into the United States from Mexico.
The lawsuit is prompted by information that’s leaked out indicating that the federal government has been giving Catholic Charities money to buy plane tickets for illegals and pay for other expenses to help them get settled in various parts of the US after crossing into the country illegally.
While the Pope may be willing to let Biden believe he’s a “good Catholic,” plenty of Conservative members in the church aren’t impressed with the President’s disastrous policies.
CatholicVote and Judicial Watch have filed a lawsuit against Biden’s Homeland Security and Department of Health and Human Services after the federal government agencies refused to respond to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request.
“American Catholics deserve to know the full extent of the U.S. government’s role in funding and coordinating with Catholic church affiliated agencies at the border, and what role these agencies played in the record surge of illegal immigrants over the past year,” CatholicVote president Brian Burch said.
Whatever information they get is likely to be explosive.
Independent journalist Ali Bradley interviewed a nun heading up the largest Non-Governmental Organization along the southern border.
“It was just something we submitted to I think it was like, we have requested like a little bit over a million dollars,” Sister Norma Pimentel of Catholic Charities said. “But I don’t know that we’ve received it 100% you know, but yes, it’s possible that we could even get more but it’s not outlandish to say there are some people that just cannot afford a plane ticket.”
She then went on to say that the charity only helps about one percent of immigrants who pass through.
Something sure doesn’t smell right there.
If only one percent of illegal immigrants are getting help, that means an insane number are pouring over the border—especially considering that the charity claims to have racked up more than a million dollars in expenses helping them.
One thing is for sure—Joe Biden is doing everything except his job.
Rather than enforcing our laws and protecting our borders, Biden and his lackeys are running wild doing whatever they want and spending taxpayer money faster than any previous generation of crooked politicians.
