Joe Biden continues to prove he isn’t capable of being president.
The American people are seeing that more clearly with every day that goes by.
And Joe Biden is horrified after Republicans sent him this career-ending demand.
Biden’s failure in Afghanistan will go down in the history books as one of the darkest moments in our nation’s history.
That is unless Biden and his allies successfully rewrite history as they are trying to do right now.
But Republicans are working to make sure that doesn’t happen, with a number of them sending a letter demanding transcripts of phone calls between Biden and former Afghan president Ashraf Ghani be released.
26 House Republicans signed onto the letter, which reads in part:
“In the period leading up to the withdrawal, your administration made a series of false assurances to the American people and our allies regarding the situation on the ground. The contrast between your Administration’s official spin and the reality on the ground revealed a bewildering lack of coherence, strategy, and fundamental transparency. It appeared repeatedly as if your Administration was engaging in a deliberate effort to conceal the truth and mislead the American public. On August 31, new evidence emerged that suggests this is exactly what you have been doing since the start of this operation.”
It goes on to cite a Reuters report, showing that Biden pressured Afghan President Ashraf Ghani to “‘project a different picture’ than the reality on the ground ‘whether it is true or not.’”
The letter also cites a report showing that Biden promised to provide air support to the Afghan military after US troops pulled back, but he never followed through.
They go on to state that this report “further erodes your credibility and the confidence of the American people in your ability to lead,” and that he deserved “scrutiny and accountability” for his failures.
That is where they make their big demand:
“We hereby request that you make the full, unedited and unredacted transcripts of your July 23 conversation with Afghan President Ashraf Ghani public so Congress can determine the degree to which you may have deliberately misled the American people leading up to and during this disastrously executed operation.”
This call transcript has the possibility of showing just how much of a failure and fraud Joe Biden is.
So he will certainly fight it tooth and nail.
If it comes out, it could be what finally brings his presidency tumbling to its end.
