Democrats want to pack the Supreme Court of the United States with enough Leftists justices that they’ll always get their way.
This extreme desire comes in the wake of a series of losses the far-Left has suffered at the hands of the High Court over the last year.
And now, with a single sentence, President Joe Biden has added his name to the list of Democrats delegitimizing SCOTUS.
One of President Joe Biden’s biggest usurpations of power in the first half of his first term in the White House came last Summer when, with a stroke of the pen, Biden wiped several hundreds of billions of dollars off the book without the consent of Congress.
Through an executive order, Joe Biden initiated one of the largest transfers of wealth in world history.
He stole upwards of a trillion dollars from American workers who didn’t go to college, or who had sacrificed and worked hard to pay off their student debt — and handed it on a silver platter to partying college students and grads with useless degrees who had no intentions of paying off their obligations.
The President of the United States does have the power to pause student loan payments, as Biden has done since he first stepped foot in the Oval Office – however, canceling loans would effectively be a budgetary move, requiring an act of Congress.
Take it from Nancy Pelosi from last year.
“People think that the President of the United States has the power for debt forgiveness,” Speaker Pelosi said about a year before Biden’s historic abuse of power. “He does not. He can postpone. He can delay. But he does not have that power. That has to be an act of Congress.”
And that’s why Biden’s unprecedented attempt to purchase votes ahead of the 2022 Midterms is being challenged in the courts.
And those legal battles have now made all the way up to the highest court in the land.
The Supreme Court of the United States will now decide the future of Biden’s unconstitutional wealth-transferring executive order.
And according to a report from The Epoch Times, the President isn’t feeling confident about those chances.
Why?
Because Biden is now joining in the left-wing chorus claiming the Supreme Court is illegitimate.
“I’m confident we’re on the right side of the law,” President Biden told reporters. “I’m not confident about the outcome of the decision yet.”
To paraphrase, the President of the United States is incorrectly saying his radical executive order is constitutional, but that the highest court in all the land can’t be trusted to properly rule on the constitutional merits because of supposed partisanship.
In other words, he’s calling the court illegitimate.
“Illegitimate” was a chant about the Court popularized following SCOTUS justices’ ruling to overturn Roe v. Wade last summer.
Many elected Democrats, party leaders and activists used the destructive catchphrase to call for packing the court with Leftists justices and impeaching the judges appointed by Republican presidents.
Democrat Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York and her Squad were some of the leading voices calling into question the legitimacy of one of the three equal branches of the United States government.
AOC was one of many Democrat politicians who called for activists to take their anger and frustration over abortion decisions being returned to the states to take it “into the streets.”
Radical Leftists protested in front of justices’ family homes, stalked them in public and one even tried to assassinate Justice Samuel Alito.
President Biden responded that his supporters have a right to protest and showed indifference to the danger his voters were putting judges on the Supreme Court in.
From there, AOC and President Biden would then say it was Republicans who are the danger to democracy.
It should be pointed out, America is a constitutional republic, not a democracy.
