America’s military is a shell of its former self thanks to Joe Biden’s woke infiltration.
One of Joe Biden’s most important duties as Commander-in-Chief is to keep the nation’s military in top condition to defend America’s borders.
But that’s not happening.
Morale is at an all-time low following the second anniversary of the most humiliating blow America’s military experienced since the Vietnam War thanks to his disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal.
According to officials representing the various armed forces, the military’s recruiting efforts ended 15,000 recruits short of its 65,000-recruit goal for the fiscal year.
“We are not going to make that goal,” Army Secretary Christine Wormuth warned during a Congressional hearing this spring. “We are doing everything we can to get as close to it as possible; we are going to fall short.”
Considering the current economic environment, sign-on bonuses plus guaranteed housing should have made recruiting easier than ever.
However, many potential recruits were turned off by Joe Biden’s woke mandates.
Back in 2021, the Biden regime forced COVID-19 vaccines on all military members, with the various branches kicking out anyone who refused the jab.
Under Biden’s watch the military began pushing other new initiatives, including the Air Force’s decision to design flight suits for pregnant female Air Force pilots.
Biden also repealed Donald Trump’s ban on transgender military members—another indication that the current leadership clashes with the largely conservative ethos of military members.
Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley also showed his radical perspective when he testified in front of Congress claiming that January 6 was the result of “white rage.”
The Biden regime has also made gender identity insanity a focal point within the Pentagon.
Meanwhile, Biden’s Secretary of Defense went as far as returning a draft of the end-of-tour citation when Milley was retiring over a pronoun issue.
He insisted that Milley had to be referred to as “themself” instead of “himself.”
Page 49 of the Manual of Military Decorations and Awards now reads:
Superior Meritorious Service (e.g., PCS and Retirement awards): (Rank) First M. Last, Jr., United States (Military Service), distinguished themself by superior meritorious service in a position of significant responsibility as (position and duty assignment), from (month year) to (month year).
It seems Joe Biden and his friends in the Pentagon brass forgot that the mission of the United States military is to secure peace and freedom for the United States.
Instead, they’ve turned the military into a laboratory for woke social engineering and experimentation.
And they couldn’t have picked a worse time to gut the military than when Communist China is breathing down America’s neck and threatening to go to war over Taiwan.
