Joe Biden’s approval numbers are taking a dive.
Democrats were hoping the fallout from Biden’s failure in Afghanistan would soon pass.
But Joe Biden just made one Afghanistan admission that could lead to his impeachment.
Joe Biden and the Democrats are doing everything they can to change the news cycle and distract from the administration’s massive failure in Afghanistan.
However, it doesn’t appear to be going anyway anytime soon.
That’s because it was revealed that yesterday morning more than 100 Americans were still effectively being held hostage as the Taliban refused to let six chartered airplanes leave the Mazar-i-Sharif International Airport.
And according to The Washington Free Beacon, the Biden administration just admitted that it’s helpless to free the Americans because of the decision to remove the military from Afghanistan before evacuating all civilians.
“We do not have personnel on the ground, we do not have air assets in the country, we do not control the airspace—whether over Afghanistan or elsewhere in the region,” a State Department spokesman explained. “We understand the concern that many people are feeling as they try to facilitate further charter and other passage out of Afghanistan.”
More and more Republicans are already calling for Joe Biden to be impeached.
And with the Biden administration admitting that its poor planning and execution of the withdrawal allowed the Taliban to take Americans as hostages, even more Republicans are expected to call for Biden’s impeachment.
Joe Biden’s failure in Afghanistan has essentially turned into a replay of the 1979-1980 Iranian hostage crisis.
But unlike Jimmy Carter, who at least tried to stage a rescue mission, Joe Biden doesn’t seem to understand that Americans do not leave anyone behind.
And that could soon end Biden’s career.
