White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre can’t seem to catch a break.
Joe Biden’s growing classified documents scandal exposed her incompetence.
And now Karine Jean-Pierre is cracking under the pressure of trying to defend Joe Biden against an increasingly hostile White House press corps.
Members of the White House press corps are frustrated with the way she frequently dodges questions and instead refers them to the White House Counsel’s Office for more information.
And now the Biden administration could be gearing up to install a new Press Secretary who can better handle the pressure, as National Security Council spokesman John Kirby appeared at a press briefing with Jean-Pierre to handle questions on the classified documents.
Even though Kirby claimed he would “defer most questions” to Jean-Pierre, he ended up answering the majority of those related to the classified documents scandal.
Members of the media are also pointing out how horribly Jean-Pierre handled the pressure of this latest scandal.
MSNBC’s Joe Scarborough accused Joe Biden of “stumbling and bumbling” this scandal and questioned why it took so long for Kirby to appear alongside Jean-Pierre.
“The people that watch this show may not agree with the answers that one John Kirby would give but, let’s be real,” Fox & Friends First co-host Todd Piro said. “John Kirby is in the building. He can do this job way better than KJP.”
“How much longer does KJP have in this role?” Piro asked.
Fox News media contributor Joe Concha predicted Jean-Pierre would be out as Press Secretary “within the next couple of months.”
“I would think probably within the next couple of months, we’ll see a pivot to John Kirby as the White House Press Secretary, particularly if Joe Biden announces he’s running for President,” Concha predicted. “If he does announce, then KJP, Karine Jean-Pierre, has an out.”
Before joining Biden’s 2020 campaign, Jean-Pierre worked at MSNBC.
“She’ll be the communications director for the campaign type of thing,” Concha said. “But John Kirby should have had this job right after Jen Psaki left. Not Karine Jean-Pierre.”
Giving her a job on the campaign would be one way to dispose of Jean-Pierre without controversy.
But Concha said something must change immediately.
“It’s like everything’s being played on a loop at this point,” Concha exclaimed.
Joe Biden’s growing classified documents scandal could be the end of Jean-Pierre’s role as Press Secretary.
