Biden dialed up the rhetoric by declaring that anyone who opposes him is a threat to the Republic.
“We must be honest with each other and with ourselves,” Biden ranted. “Too much of what’s happening in our country today is not normal. Donald Trump and the MAGA Republicans represent an extremism that threatens the very foundations of our Republic.”
Joe Biden then claimed that democracy would cease to exist in the United States unless Democrats won every election.
Of course, Biden’s speech was met with severe backlash.
