Democrats have latched onto an insidious political strategy.
They’ve managed to basically insulate themselves from impeachment threats by selecting running mates nobody wants in office.
But Joe Biden managed to shock even his supporters with this massive announcement about Kamala Harris and the 2024 election.
As the first female Vice President in the United States’ history, Kamala Harris was supposed to make history.
But soon after she entered office, it became abundantly clear her “superpower” is doing super poorly in polls.
Harris’ time in office as Joe Biden’s second in command has been an unmitigated disaster.
The Vice President’s famous “word salads” and other gaffes have kept Democrats in a near constant state of embarrassment.
Her utter failure as Biden’s Border Czar has also had a massive impact on Democrats living in cities overrun by illegal aliens.
So it’s no surprise rumors have been circulating that Biden was likely to select a new running mate for his 2024 campaign—especially since polls show that she’s literally the most unpopular Vice President in modern history.
Many Democrats and their buddies in the corporate-controlled media have made their desire to replace Harris with another candidate abundantly clear.
After all, the next Vice President is more than likely to hold the top office.
If he were to win in 2024, President Biden would be 86 years old by the end of his term in 2028.
The President seemingly ended speculation about Harris when he announced that she would be his running mate once again for the 2024 Election.
But any Democrats hoping to avoid a “President Harris” scenario at any cost just ran into a major problem.
Biden marked the third anniversary of when he announced that Harris would be his running mate by confirming his support of the wildly unpopular VP.
“Picking Kamala as my eventual Vice President was one of the best decisions I made as a Presidential nominee,” Biden announced.
That claim pretty much sums up exactly how much of a train wreck Biden’s time in office has been.
“And since that day, she’s demonstrated that she was the perfect choice,” Biden continued.
It seems likely that claim got Jill Biden’s dander up since the First Lady has reportedly never been a big fan of Harris.
Regardless, Biden claims Harris reminds him of himself when former President Barack Obama tapped him to be his running mate in 2008.
“I learned from my friend Barack Obama what to look for: someone to be a partner in progress. Someone who shares the same perspective on how we view the challenges the country faces. Someone who will fight for the American people every day on the job,” Biden said. “I know Kamala personally. I can tell you one thing for sure: She is just getting started.”
Democrats have extended a remarkable amount of patience and understanding to Biden who has clearly been suffering from worsening dementia—likely due to his advanced age—during his time in office.
But insisting that Kamala Harris is the absolute best possible candidate for VP may be a bridge too far.
If Harris were to become Vice President again in 2024, she would also end up the presumed front-runner for the Democrat nomination in 2028.
She’s already been deployed by the Biden campaign to help raise money for the Biden/Harris ticket and to assume her posture as the regime’s attack dog on the campaign trail.
But she’s already failing with an embarrassing false claim that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis pushed curriculum in public schools that cast slavery as “beneficial” to slaves.
Considering the apparent fragility of Biden’s health, Harris is sure to play a bigger role in the next presidential election than ever before.
Facing the strong possibility of having Kamala Harris become president could give Democrats cold feet when it comes to committing to another four years with the current administration.
