Joe Biden was confident that the momentum had finally shifted in his direction.
But Biden’s excitement was short-lived.
Because Joe Biden just slipped up and made one huge mistake when he uttered these two sentences.
During a talk he gave at a Democrat fundraiser in the wealthy suburbs of Washington, D.C., Joe Biden dialed up his rhetoric against Donald Trump and his supporters to a level never before seen in American politics.
Biden falsely claimed that Republicans were a threat to democracy and that our country will not survive if the GOP takes back Congress this fall.
“The MAGA Republicans don’t just threaten our personal rights and economic security,” Biden ranted. “They’re a threat to our very democracy. They refuse to accept the will of the people. They embrace – embrace – political violence. They don’t believe in democracy.”
Of course, many found it ironic that Joe Biden is accusing Republicans of refusing to accept the outcome of elections given how Democrats have objected to every Presidential election won by Republicans in the 21st century on the grounds that they were stolen.
Both George W. Bush and Donald Trump were considered illegitimate Presidents by the Democrats.
Biden then made a huge mistake by uttering two sentences that will come back to haunt Democrats this fall.
“What we’re seeing now is either the beginning or the death knell of an extreme MAGA philosophy,” Biden began. “It’s not just Trump, it’s the entire philosophy that underpins the — I’m going to say something — it’s like semi-fascism,” Biden concluded.
Biden calling Donald Trump voters “semi-fascists” reminded many of Hillary Clinton’s “basket of deplorables” slander during the 2016 campaign.
“You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump’s supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right?” Clinton told a crowd at a fundraiser back in 2016. “The racist, sexist, homophobic, xenophobic, Islamaphobic—you name it. And unfortunately there are people like that. And he has lifted them up.”
Biden realized he went too far when even left-wing CNN called him out over his comments.
“The term ‘semi-fascist’ is not helpful, it’s not befitting the office of President,” left-wing analyst John Avalon stated.
Adolf Hilter and the Nazi Party were “fascists.”
Joe Biden referring to Trump supporters as “fascists” is essentially a declaration of war against his own citizens.
In the 1940s, America waged war on fascism to stop the spread of the evil ideology.
That’s why Joe Biden’s smears have many concerned that he and the Democrats are planning to go even further than they have already in their weaponization of government against American citizens.
