The moment Joe Biden stepped foot into the Oval Office, the wheels were set in motion to unravel all of Donald Trump’s efforts to secure the United States’ southern border.
Of course, he immediately slammed the brakes on Trump’s effort to build a border wall.
On top of that he basically invited anyone to come on over to cross the southern border.
After that, he made the laughable move of appointing Vice President Kamala Harris to function as his “Border Czar.”
Clearly, Biden is sold out on a leftist agenda that involves packing the US full of as many illegal aliens as possible—roughly six million so far.
But now that he’s gunning for a second term in office, the 80-year-old has just been confronted by a yet another massive problem.
A recent poll revealed that a stunning six out of 10 Democrats aren’t happy with the number of illegal aliens flowing over the border.
The poll conducted by CivicScience was framed as an effort to discover the level of support for Biden’s new supposed effort to curb illegal immigration.
But the overwhelming number of Democrats and Independents who want the administration to clean up the border crisis is quickly morphing into a political liability for the career politician.
The poll data, which was collected on May 9 and 10, reveals that a mere 18% of Democrats and only 19% of Independents oppose making it harder for illegals to receive asylum once they’re in the US.
It’s a situation blowing up quickly for Democrats as communities around the nation are struggling to deal with the overwhelming flood of illegal aliens showing up and expecting services at taxpayer expense.
According to The Hill, there’s plenty of potential for ferocious infighting within the Democrat Party.
“I just don’t think this issue lends itself to creating a lot of advantages,” Democratic strategist Joel Payne told the outlet. “Even if it is handled right, you are still going to piss off a lot of people.”
That situation is opening up a massive political opportunity for Republicans who should be able to swoop in and provide compelling arguments along with real solutions for communities overwhelmed by the Democrats’ misguided illegal immigration agenda.
