Immediately after getting into office, Joe Biden wiped out Donald Trump’s effective border control measures.
Less than two years later, more than four million illegal aliens have surged into the United States along the southern border where Border Patrol agents have been turned into glorified shuttle bus drivers.
While Democrats have been throwing fits over Republican Governors dropping illegals at their doorsteps, the Biden administration has already been giving illegal aliens the white glove treatment with secret flights to locations around the country.
In some cases illegals have even been using their arrest warrants as a form of identification to board free flights paid for by tax dollars.
But now there’s a new stunning revelation about how taxpayers are getting ripped off by the Left’s obsession with packing America full of people willing to enter the US illegally.
For some inexplicable reason, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has provided smartphones to 255,000 illegal aliens this year alone, The Epoch Times reported.
They’ve spent a stunning $89.5 million dollars equipping illegals with the latest telecommunications technology.
Supposedly those who take the phones have to check in with ICE on a regular basis, but the agency refused to respond to numerous requests for compliance information, The Epoch Times said.
The fact that most of the phones have been provided to single adults and is listed under a category called “Parole+ATD” is especially concerning.
One can only wonder exactly how bad these guys are if they were picked for the agency’s “Alternatives To Detention” program.
Apparently, even though they’ve let more than four million illegals into the country, the Biden administration is still playing at work by pretending they are going to someday enforce a few of the rules on the books—if they feel like it.
Meanwhile, the mess at the border is continuing to grow thanks to the administration’s flawed policies.
“In my experience, we have seen increases when there are no consequences,” U.S. Border Patrol Chief Raul Ortiz said in July when testifying for a court case brought by the Florida Attorney General.
“There is an assumption if migrant populations are told that there’s a potential that they may be released, then yes, you can see increases,” Ortiz added.
No doubt rumors of free smartphones at the border will only further incentivize millions more people to start joining massive caravans on their way to cross into the US illegally.
