Joe Biden has been under immense heat from all ends of the political spectrum.
But he doesn’t seem to be doing himself any favors.
And now Joe Biden was eviscerated by a single word a Fox News reporter used to detail the Afghanistan collapse.
There’s no way of getting around how damaging the Biden administration’s hasty withdrawal was to what little progress the U.S. military had made in the last twenty years in Afghanistan.
After spending trillions of dollars and precious American lives, Biden ended it.
Getting out was never the problem. It’s the disastrous way he did it.
But Biden doesn’t even seem to care or notice how much of a big deal this is.
Indicative of his apathy, ignorance, or utter obliviousness, is the fact that when the U.S. military had completed its final withdrawal from Afghanistan, Biden merely released a paper statement.
That’s when Fox News national security reporter Jennifer Griffin took to the Fox News camera live on air to eviscerate Biden for his incompetence as President saying she was “shocked.”
“I was shocked that the president released a paper statement on the end of the Afghan War. He says he is going to speak to the nation tomorrow, but a paper statement I find that very strange. I thought that the Secretary of State’s statement was videotaped and he was looking slightly off-camera, it looked like a hostage video. It was not the kind of production values that you would expect for such a moment in time,” Griffin stated.
She continued by reading a text from one of the groups trying to get American citizens who were left by the Biden administration out of Afghanistan which detailed how hopeless the Americans felt in Biden’s wake.
“Let me read to you a text that I just read to you from Signal, from one of the very groups that we have been working with that are trying to locate American citizens as well as help some of the vulnerable Afghans that we were trying to help get out. This is really it’s hard to describe this right now, how you feel reading something like this. ‘I have picked up 8 Green cards and four blue passports, American citizens, now as they have been completely abandoned after multiple attempts to get into the Kabul airport and promises of passage,’” Griffin concluded.
Fox News has done well to recapture the conservative audience it lost after fumbling the 2020 election reporting.
Particularly when it comes to reporting on Joe Biden’s complete mess in Afghanistan.
Jennifer Griffin’s take on the Afghanistan bungle is one shared by basically everyone who isn’t directly tied to the Biden administration.
Whether Biden is simply apathetic, confused, or more villainous than Americans originally thought is beside the point.
He’s unfit for office and shouldn’t be making any more decisions for the leading nation of the free world anymore.
Maybe the Democrats’ obsession in their failed attempts to impeach Donald Trump will come back to bite them should the Republicans win the U.S. House back in 2020.
The Afghanistan collapse is politically toxic enough that Biden could face impeachment should the GOP win majorities in the 2022 midterms.
