Celebrities almost always give their endorsement to the leading Democrat candidates.
But 2024 could see a real change in the way celebrities endorse.
That’s because Robert F. Kennedy Jr. who is a celebrity himself, has announced he plans to challenge Joe Biden in the 2024 Democrat Presidential primary.
Kennedy turned against Joe Biden during the government’s COVID crackdown when Biden tried to force vaccine mandates on the American people.
And Kennedy especially opposed Biden’s willingness to kneel at the altar of Big Pharma.
Kennedy has made no bones about his views of Big Pharma, “We pay more for medicine and more for pharmaceuticals. We consume three times more pharmaceutical drugs than other Western nations, and we have the worst health outcomes.”
And to the surprise of many, Kennedy’s decision to run for President won the support of Super Bowl winning and NFL MVP quarterback Aaron Rodgers.
Rogers, who made news during the COVID pandemic by opposing the mandates, posted a clip of an interview of Kennedy on his Instagram story with heart and bicep flexing emojis.
And Robert F. Kennedy Jr. is not the only Democrat running against Joe Biden in the 2024 primary.
Biden could face a number of Democrat opponents who could weaken the already despised President.
Bestselling author, spiritual teacher and Oprah Winfrey confidant Marianne Williamson has also announced her candidacy for the Democrat nomination for President.
It is becoming painfully clear many leading Democrats, and grass roots Democrat activists, do not want Joe Biden as their 2024 standard bearer.
In fact, poll after poll continue to show a majority of Democrats actually want anyone other than Joe Biden as the nominee.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. certainly has the famous last name and the well-established leftist pedigree.
In almost any other time Kennedy might be considered a serious challenger to Biden.
But because Kennedy Jr. strongly opposed COVID vaccine mandates it is likely the broader Democrat Party operatives who decide the nominee may view Kennedy’s challenge as a GOP deep fake.
Of course, this theory ignores the fact that other than his opposition to COVID mandates, Kennedy is a hard-core leftist.
It also overlooks the fact that Republicans aren’t capable of pulling off such an operation.
But that doesn’t mean there isn’t an opening for another Democrat to throw their hat into the ring as an unabashed heir to the Bernie Sanders movement.
This would be reminiscent of the way Ronald Reagan challenged Gerald Ford in 1976 as the next evolution of the Barry Goldwater conservative revolution.
Will a bigger name Democrat other than Robert F. Kennedy Jr. step in and challenge Biden from the progressive left?
Only time will tell, but with Biden continuing to flounder, and Kamala Harris the pick of no Democrat, it is certainly likely.
And the polls show the Democrat party is wide open to considering an alternative to Joe Biden.
