The 2024 Presidential race has already started.
But Joe Biden’s still trying to figure out what he’s doing.
And he was shocked when a young Democrat made this power move ahead of 2024.
Former President Donald Trump kicked off the 2024 presidential race when he filed paperwork to run again in 2024.
President Joe Biden constantly claims he’s running in 2024, but so many questions linger about the future careers he seems only half convinced himself.
The 80-year-old President’s rapidly degrading mental state and disastrous start first two years in office have turned the presidency into a clown show most Democrats have to be secretly cringing over.
But a better than expected Midterm election performance by Democrats emboldened Joe Biden and now Democrats have little excuse not to rally around Biden as the party’s choice for 2024.
After years of pretending Joe Biden’s is perfectly competent, they haven’t been provided with an opportunity to end the “emperor with no clothes” theatrics.
California Governor Gavin Newsom is one of the most serious contenders for the White House on the left and has been positioning himself for the job for most of this year.
As a radical leftist in California, Newsom wasn’t feeling threatened this year during his re-election and chose to use his deep pockets to increasingly make himself a household name by picking a fight with Florida Governor Ron DeSantis.
Newsom went as far as running ads on Fox News in Florida this summer with the outrageous claim that DeSantis—one of the most pro-freedom Republican governors during the pandemic—was oppressing his citizens.
DeSantis is the latest conservative scaring Democrats—and picking a fight with the Florida Governor was a savvy move to raise Newsom’s profile with the party’s base.
Newsom’s antics soon had the corporate-controlled media speculating that Nancy Pelosi’s nephew could be a top contender in the 2024 Democrat Presidential primaries if he chose to go after Biden.
But Newsom just pivoted again by shutting down speculation he will challenge Biden after he told the White House he’s “all in” for Biden’s re-election.
“I’ve told everyone in the White House, from the Chief of Staff to the First Lady,” Newsom explained in a Politico interview.
Newsom claims he personally told Joe Biden on election night that he isn’t going after his presidential ambitions in 2024.
“I’m all in; put me in coach,” Newsom said. “We have your back.”
The California Governor is so committed to getting this political message pushed he’s repeating himself constantly telling First Lady Jill Biden and White House Chief of Staff Ron Klain, “I’m all in, count me in.”
Newsom’s announcement has been taking a load of stress off Biden’s camp, but it’s also a politically brilliant move on Newsom’s part.
A serious primary challenge from the California Governor would have severely damaged Biden heading into the 2024 general election.
The last time a Democrat President headed into a re-election campaign this vulnerable was back in 1980 when the wildly unpopular Jimmy Carter was in office.
Carter never recovered from the primary challenge issued by late Sen. Ted Kennedy (D-MA).
Now that Newsom has proven himself dangerous before going to great lengths to show his loyalty, he’s made himself more of an insider than ever before.
Other prominent Democrats, including Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA), are joining Newsom in publicly backing Biden for a second term.
Apparently, after the Democrats’ surprising success in the Midterm elections, power brokers in the Democrat Party are continuing the charade for now lining up behind Joe Biden for 2024.
