Democrats and their lapdog legacy media allies are desperate to stop Governor Ron DeSantis by any means necessary.
The only problem is the Governor’s unprecedented success has caused many politicians to begin imitating his policies.
And now Joe Biden went berserk after this Democrat Governor went full Ron DeSantis with one unbelievable move.
No serious, sensible human can objectively look at the state of the nation under President Joe Biden and not come to the conclusion that the Biden border crisis is one of the biggest issues facing the nation.
That’s especially true for the border states and communities that are bearing the brunt of the more than five million illegal aliens who have been apprehended while attempting to enter the country illegally since Biden took office, not to mention all those who went undetected.
Nevertheless, the Biden regime hasn’t lifted a finger to deal with what virtually every humanitarian group – most of which boast a heavy left-wing bias – have dubbed a “humanitarian disgrace,” and have even claimed “the border is secure.”
That inaction – or more accurately, deliberate sabotage – inevitably led some Republican Governors, like Florida’s Ron DeSantis and Texas’ Greg Abbott, to take matters into their own hands.
Governors DeSantis and Abbott began transporting illegal aliens apprehended by state authorities to Democrat-controlled “sanctuary jurisdictions,” like New York City and Martha’s Vineyard.
And as expected, facing but a fraction of the illegal alien invasion taking place at the border caused Democrats and the corporate-controlled media to absolutely meltdown.
As a matter of fact, many Democrats, like California Governor Gavin Newsom, even called for the Republican Governors to be investigated for “human trafficking,” even though Newsom does the exact same thing with California’s homeless citizens.
But that meltdown also brought a tremendous amount of attention to the Biden border crisis, showing many Americans on both sides of the aisle what’s really happening for the first time.
Now, one Democrat Governor has shockingly chosen to buck his Party’s devotion to the open borders agenda by stealing a page from the DeSantis-Abbott playbook.
Colorado Democrat Governor Jared Polis, the first openly gay male Governor in U.S. history, has apparently begun transporting illegal aliens apprehended in his state to Democrat-controlled cities, like New York.
New York Democrat Mayor Eric Adams, who has whined endlessly since the Republican Governors began transporting illegal aliens to his “sanctuary city,” revealed Polis’ plan last week, claiming it was “unfair” for local governments to take on a “national obligation.”
“Now, we were notified yesterday that the governor of Colorado has now stated that they are going to be sending migrants to places like New York and Chicago,” Adams said. “This is just unfair for local governments to have to take on this national obligation. We’ve done our job. There’s no more room at the inn.”
Funny that Mayor Adams never mentioned how “unfair” the Biden border crisis has been for local governments on the border until it was brought to his front yard.
Of course, no city in America would have to deal with the illegal alien invasion that border communities, and now Democrat-controlled “sanctuary cities,” are experiencing if Democrats, like Adams, hadn’t spent at least two decades fighting for open borders.
Regardless, the influx of illegal aliens Colorado has seen over the past two years left Governor Polis with no other choice but to act in his state’s interest, as he should.
He responded to Mayor Adams’ criticism by insisting he’s not playing politics, while pointing out that 70% of illegal aliens in Colorado are passing through on their way to their final destination.
“Too many people, in our opinion, view this through a political lens or as playing politics — and it’s terrible that in some places, people have been used as political props,” Polis said. “But what we are doing here is just honoring our values by treating people with dignity and respect.”
The Washington Examiner noted that since December 9, some 3,500 illegal aliens have arrived in Denver – still a far cry from what border communities have been forced to deal with, but proof that the Biden border crisis is impacting the entire nation, nonetheless.
Obviously, Democrats and the corporate-controlled media went into a total toddler-like tantrum after Governors DeSantis and Abbott began transporting illegal aliens from their states.
Mayor Adams has already proven that Democrat politicians in these “sanctuary cities” will still react to a Democrat doing the same with their same endless whining, but whether or not the corporate-controlled media will admit that Democrats are employing the same policy they once likened to “human trafficking” remains to be seen.
No matter how they slice it, though, they can’t hide from the fact that Democrat Governors are now taking a page from Republican Governors’ playbooks.
