The current President could literally say anything or go anywhere.
With the House of Representatives currently under its control, members of the GOP are working feverishly to dig up information about the Biden Family’s influence peddling schemes.
And the last thing the President’s handlers want to discuss are Joe Biden’s bank records.
But that didn’t keep Joe Biden from going off on one bizarre rant recently going into bounced checks in his past and the difficulty of obtaining his bank records.
“My administration banned banks and credit unions from charging fees for basic services like checking your account balance. I love that one,” Biden bragged.
“I got so damned mad when I found — anyway, retrieving old bank records, that’s really hard to do, man,” Biden added, apparently getting lost inside his own story.
“Or looking up the balance on your loan — that’s a killer, man,” he added. “It costs so much money for those banks. They charge up to $30 for these services. and, you know, when you bounce a few checks like I did when I was trying to get started, it — anyway, that’s over.”
The way his son, Hunter, was shaking down Chinese executives for a big payday a few years back, you’d think bouncing a check was still a possibility in the President’s recent past.
Evidence presented in Congress revealed how Hunter threatened the executives, who happen to be connected to the highest levels of China’s Communist party, via text message.
In the exchange, Hunter claimed he was sitting next to his father and that immediate cooperation was essential or he would use the full force of all of his father’s powerful connections to make them sorely regret blowing him off.
Incredibly, even that damning evidence didn’t cause Biden to shy away from joking about bank records.
And while Biden may find navigating the financial system nearly impossible, House Republicans seem to be making a fair amount of progress.
In an entertaining twist, only a day after Biden joked about his banking woes, Rep. James Comer issued a press release with a picture of a check made out to Joe Biden.
“Well, not only did he lie about his son Hunter making money in China, but it also turns out that $40,000 in laundered China money landed in Joe Biden’s bank account in the form of a personal check,” Comer announced.
Comer’s release outlined the path the money took from China and through four different Biden companies before his sister-in-law, Sara, wrote a $40,000 check to the “Big Guy” himself with the family’s signature “loan repayment” memo.
If Joe Biden thinks a $30 bounced check fee was bad, he sure isn’t going to want to know what a good attorney to fight a slew of felonies is going to cost.
