Joe Biden’s Presidency is off to a rough start.
Even some Democrats in Congress are starting to turn on him.
And Joe Biden will be infuriated when he finds out what this one Democrat Senator just admitted is taking place behind closed doors.
Last week Joe Biden released his administration’s new “infrastructure” proposal, a socialist wish list with a $2.3 trillion price tag.
In fact, according to estimates, only 5% of the $2.3 trillion dollars will be spent on real infrastructure, with the rest being used to impose the Left’s socialist vision on America.
To finance the bill, Biden is calling on Congress to pass the largest tax increase in American history.
However, with the Senate split 50/50, Biden needs every Democrat Senator to fall in line behind his “infrastructure” proposal.
And West Virginia Democrat Joe Manchin told Metro News that he could not support Biden’s bill as written because the legislation would kill jobs and hurt the economy by raising the corporate tax rate to 28 percent.
“As the bill exists today, it needs to be changed,” Manchin declared.
But apparently Manchin isn’t the only Democrat Senator opposed to Biden’s infrastructure bill.
According to Manchin, six or seven other Democrats have also voiced their opposition to Biden’s infrastructure bill in closed-door meetings.
“It’s more than just me, Hoppy,” Manchin continued. “There’s six or seven other Democrats who feel very strongly about this. We have to be competitive, and we’re not going to throw caution to the wind.”
Of course, as Manchin pointed out, without his vote, there’s no way the Democrats can pass the bill through the Senate.
“If I don’t vote to get on it, it’s not going anywhere,” Manchin concluded.
And with six or seven other Democrats also against Joe Biden’s socialist welfare spending bill, it’s certain to take a long time to work its way through Congress.
So it looks like Joe Biden’s Presidency will continue down the same rocky path it’s been on since Day 1.
