Joe Biden is in big trouble.
He was hoping the corporate-controlled media would be able to shield him from receiving any blame for the disaster in Afghanistan.
But Joe Biden’s phony narrative fell apart when two military veterans from Congress landed in Afghanistan.
Michigan Republican Representative Peter Meijer and Massachusetts Democrat Representative Seth Moulton are both military veterans who voted to impeach Donald Trump.
But the two recently took a surprise trip to the Kabul Airport to get a first-hand look.
The pair aimed to investigate the situation on the ground to find out if Joe Biden could possibly get all Americans out of Afghanistan by today’s deadline or if Biden’s claims of the historic airlift were all a lie.
When Joe Biden heard about the surprise trip, his administration blasted the Congressmen for supposedly taking up seats on evacuation flights.
But when Moulton and Meijer returned from Kabul it became clear what Joe Biden was really upset about.
The two Congressmen, who both served in Afghanistan, released a statement claiming the evacuation was a disaster and there was no chance Joe Biden would have all the Americans out of the country by today’s deadline.
Moulton and Meijer’s statement read:
We came into this visit wanting, like most veterans, to push the president to extend the August 31st deadline. After talking with commanders on the ground and seeing the situation here, it is obvious that because we started the evacuation so late, that no matter what we do, we won’t get everyone out on time, even by September 11. Sadly and frustratingly, getting our people out depends on maintaining the current, bizarre relationship with the Taliban.
In the coming days, we will have more to share with our colleagues and the American people about what we learned, but after meeting with Marines, soldiers, and dedicated State Department officials on the ground—we want the world to know first and foremost that we have never been prouder to be Americans.
Joe Biden’s approval numbers are already dropping as a result of his botched withdrawal from Afghanistan and his announcement that America would cave to the Taliban’s demand to have all U.S. forces out by August 31.
The deadline is today and a spokesman for the Taliban told Joe Biden if he missed the deadline and Americans remain in Afghanistan there would be severe consequences.
Biden was hoping to change the narrative away from his botched withdrawal to his administration’s historic airlift, a claim Meijer and Moulton’s trip proved to be patently false.
