On the campaign trail, Joe Biden swore ad nauseam that his plan to take on the coronavirus would be better than Donald Trump’s.
But this is not what voters had in mind.
And Biden’s plan for more lockdowns was just exposed and now Americans are livid.
As soon as the Fake News Media outlets projected Joe Biden to win the election, Biden and his team started to develop who would be in his administration.
Including selecting those for a “coronavirus taskforce” to tackle the ongoing issue of the virus panic.
Most notably, Dr. Michael T. Osterholm will be taking part in Biden’s coronavirus taskforce, as he is one of the biggest proponents of an extreme national lockdown.
Osterholm couldn’t have been more clear about where he stands than in his Op-Ed for The New York Times that was published this past August.
Osterholm’s Op-Ed reads:
“To successfully drive down our case rate to less than one per 100,000 people per day, we should mandate sheltering in place for everyone but the truly essential workers. By that, we mean people must stay at home and leave only for essential reasons: food shopping and visits to doctors and pharmacies while wearing masks and washing hands frequently.”
Osterholm also said that Europe was a great example of how to lockdown the nation and keep the virus at bay in the same Op-Ed.
Fast forward to today, and many European nations are shutting down yet again.
And England’s coronavirus numbers are similar to Sweden’s, despite having implemented extremely strict shutdowns compared to Sweden’s laissez-faire approach.
Biden officials recently told NBC news that a shutdown isn’t “in line with the President-elect’s thinking.”
However, appointing radical lockdown advocates like Osterholm sounds exactly like the Biden corner is thinking about a national lockdown as soon as he is inaugurated.
This is exactly what Donald Trump was warning about for months.
And now Americans have to wait and see what Biden has in store for them.
