Biden violates the U.S. Constitution
Earlier this month, President Joe Biden proposed a new program that would wipe out billions in student loan debt obligations.
And he did so despite being warned that his administration – and the executive branch of government in general – does not have the authority to unilaterally waive debt repayments.
Last year, the Supreme Court of the United States made it abundantly clear that President Biden had violated the constitution when — with the stroke of the pen — he cleared nearly a trillion dollars in student loans off the books.
The majority of the recipients of this white-collar bailout would have benefited Democrat voters had SCOTUS not ruled against the Biden administration’s executive order.
The executive order was a clear attempt to juice Democrat turnout ahead of the 2022 Midterm election.
Biden’s student loan bailout would have stolen upwards of a trillion-dollars from American workers who didn’t go to college, or who had sacrificed and worked hard to pay off their student debt — and handed it on a silver platter to partying college students and grads, many with useless degrees and who had no intentions of paying off their obligations.
The President of the United States does have the power to pause student loan payments, as Biden has done since he first stepped foot in the Oval Office – however, canceling loans would effectively be a budgetary move, requiring an act of Congress.
But even an order from the High Court hasn’t stopped the President from giving your money to his voters.
He has continued to violate the U.S. Constitution and simply ignored the order and continued to bailout university borrowers.
Leftist now boycotting student loan repayments
And if the 46th President of the United States doesn’t have to follow the law, why should his voters?
If President Biden doesn’t find it important for individuals to live up to their obligations and pay their own way, why should they?
After years of delayed payments, supposedly due to “pandemic hardships,” student loan repayments were supposed to resume last October.
However, millions of borrowers are now refusing to pay off their obligations.
And some say they’re doing it “in protest.”
An Intelligent.com survey just found that 25% of borrowers have not made a single payment since October.
And about 1 in 10 claim they’re holding off on paying their bills intentionally in an effort to pressure the government into canceling their debts.
Out of those protesting paying their obligations, the survey found 44% believe their self-proclaimed “boycott” will lead to the cancellation of some federal student loan debt.
Another 28% believe it is “likely” the government will fold to them and cancel all student loan debt.
Given the actions of President Biden, it’s easy to see why they feel that way.
It’s the millions of Americans who worked hard and sacrificed to pay off their loans who are looking like the fools under the Biden administration.
Still, 68% believe that their so-called “protest” will help elect politicians who promise to bailout irresponsible college students and recent grads.
