Democrats are approaching full-blown panic mode as they simply can no longer ignore reality.
Washington, D.C. can’t stop talking about the recent ABC/Washington Post poll showing Donald Trump leading Joe Biden by six points.
Joe Biden is in serious decline and that’s why one close Joe Biden ally even made this shocking 2024 admission.
But the ABC/Washington Post poll included even worse news for the Democrats.
It turns out Biden’s surprising deficit in a match up with Trump is only half the story in a poll filled with disastrous news for Biden and the Democrats.
Because just as stunning are the reasons why Biden is losing to Trump:
- 63 percent of Americans believe Biden lacks the mental sharpness to be President.
- 62 percent also said Biden is not physically fit to be President.
- A solid majority of Americans said Trump was both mentally and physically fit to serve four more years.
- Americans thought Trump was better at handling the economy than Joe Biden by a 54 to 39 percent margin.
On ABC’s This Week, even host and former Bill Clinton advisor George Stephanopoulos could not sugar coat the dismal results.
There was no question he did not want to admit the cold, hard truth about Biden’s numbers, but he did.
“This poll is just brutal for President Biden!” Stephanopoulos exclaimed.
ABC political director Rick Klein agreed, and went further stating that the coalition that elected Joe Biden in 2020 was falling apart as black and young voters continue to sour on Biden’s failed Presidency.
“You’re seeing real weaknesses in the coalition that powered Joe Biden to the Presidency in 2020,” Klein stated.
Klein then explained the poll showed the race shaping up to be a dangerous one for Joe Biden because it was shaping up to be more of a referendum on Joe Biden’s failed policies, and disastrous economy as opposed to a choice between Biden and Trump.
“This race is shaping up [to be] a lot more about the incumbent President Joe Biden than it is about any of his challengers,” Klein added.
Panelist, and former Democrat National Committee Chairwoman Donna Brazile, went so far as to say the poll results caused her to lose sleep and she warned the Biden high command they had better be worried too.
“It kept me up, and I thought they should wake up and look at those numbers,” Brazile added. “It’s sobering in the sense that the coalition that elected Joe Biden, with the historic numbers that we saw in 2020, that coalition right now is fragmented. That should concern them.”
Joe Biden’s poll numbers first took a nose dive in the summer of 2021 but Democrats and the corporate-controlled media told themselves it didn’t matter how low Joe Biden’s poll numbers got.
Their theory was that the American people had already rendered their final judgment on Donald Trump.
But that proved to be a false assumption as the polls now show the American people view Joe Biden as a failure and prefer Trump’s record on the economy, even with his “mean tweets.”
Democrats and their allies in the left-wing legacy media are starting to wake up to the cold, hard truth.
And they are terrified, because it turns out Donald Trump can win in 2024.
