Before Donald Trump, Ronald Reagan was the most recent president who actually stood up for America first.
But the Left has villainized him for it even years after his death.
And Joe Scarborough just spit on Ronald Reagan’s grave with one delusional defense of Biden.
As a one-time Republican Congressman with a show on MSNBC, Joe Scarborough unsurprisingly has unusual, and oftentimes confusing political beliefs.
While he has been one of the most bombastic critics of former President Donald Trump, calling him a racist and a fascist, he has long had an admiration of former President Ronald Reagan.
In 2013, he wrote a book about how Reagan “mastered politics,” arguing that he was the last Republican politician to do that.
And in 2011 he compared then-rumored candidate for President Donald Trump to Reagan, arguing that like Reagan, Trump could win the White House despite elites trying to make a joke out of his political aspirations.
But those statements seem to have come before he lost his mind, because just this week he compared another politician to Ronald Reagan in a baffling desecration of Reagan’s memory.
During a Wednesday airing of Morning Joe, host Scarborough called Biden the “mirror image of Ronald Reagan.”
“We’re starting to see a really interesting dynamic take place here, I think, where Joe Biden, seems to me, to be a mirror image of Ronald Reagan,” Scarborough said, somehow with a straight face. “Reagan, who was seen as temperamentally moderate, you know, everybody’s granddad. People liked Reagan. He wasn’t threatening. He was always being, you know, accused of being a fascist and accused of being threatening. People would see Reagan on TV and they go, ‘He’s my granddad.’ Right? And he passed very conservative legislation, it was a conservative revolution. And yet, again, remarkably popular.”
Scarborough then argues that, like Reagan, Biden is “ temperamentally moderate,” yet is being unfairly bashed by Republicans and talk radio hosts.
He argues that through that, Americans still see him as “good old Joe” despite the attacks from the right.
The MSNBC host goes on to say that because of Biden’s “temperament,” you “can’t paint him out to be a radical because he’s good old Joe.”
In reality, Joe Biden is about as far from Ronald Reagan as any president in U.S. history.
Biden is pushing legislation that is more extreme than any in history.
His new $2 trillion “infrastructure bill” would raise taxes at a higher rate than anything that even Bill Clinton attempted.
And Biden’s Executive overreach has been worse than any other President in American history.
