Pennsylvania Senator John Fetterman’s health has been a concern since he suffered a massive stroke just before the Democrat Primary last year.
John Fetterman recently went back into the hospital for treatment.
And that’s raising questions over how Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) is running the Senate.
The situation surrounding John Fetterman’s health and who is making decisions in his office remains a mystery after his latest hospitalization.
But Fetterman’s name recently appeared on one list of official business in the Senate that occurred after his hospitalization, so someone is.
Democrats and their allies in the media worked overtime to cover up the truth since he suffered a stroke last year before the Senate Primary.
During the campaign, Fetterman rarely appeared in public, and the few times he did he showed signs of severe damage from the stroke.
But Fetterman was elected to the Senate in November.
However, he soon checked himself into a hospital out of fear of a second stroke after feeling lightheaded at a Democrat Party retreat.
On February 16, Fetterman once again checked himself into a hospital.
But this time he checked into Walter Reed National Military Medical Center for clinical depression, where staff members say he could be for months.
According to the New York Times, sources close to the Senator believe the grueling schedule from rushing back after a stroke harmed his recovery.
Although Fetterman is in the hospital, his name appeared as a co-sponsor on a railroad safety bill introduced in the Senate in response to the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio.
Since his hospitalization, Fetterman’s name has appeared on a total of five bills.
Apparently, even though he is hospitalized with depression and receiving treatment, Fetterman is on the job working behind the scenes.
According to his office, the Senator receives daily briefings while in the hospital.
Many are wondering how Fetterman is able to co-sponsor bills and work remotely while in the hospital for depression.
Dr. Marc Siegel, a medical professor at New York University, told Fox News Digital that Fetterman being allowed to work while in the hospital seeking treatment was “very unusual.”
He explained it’s “very unusual that somebody that’s being admitted for severe depression would be performing their job.”
Siegel said he’s “very surprised” Fetterman’s continuing to work and he “would be very disturbed and concerned about the idea of him performing the job of Senator while receiving intensive treatment for severe depression.”
Pushing John Fetterman across the finish line and pushing him to work through his recovery may turn out to be a nightmare for Senate Democrats, just as it has been for everyone of his constituents who now have no idea who is really representing them in Washington, D.C.
