John Kennedy revealed this is what scared him the most about Donald Trump

In a revealing interview with Sean Hannity, Louisiana Senator John Kennedy admits his biggest fear about Trump while praising the President's "Pitbull" approach to unfair trade.

Senator John Kennedy isn’t one to mince words.

And John Kennedy revealed this is what scared him the most about Donald Trump.

Kennedy expresses uneasiness about Trump tariffs

President Trump wants his legacy to be rebalancing the American economy so the working class finally gets its fair shake.

America lost tens of thousands of factories in the wake of the disastrous NAFTA trade deal, which kicked off a 30-year period where the globalists looted American wealth and jobs; shipping them to countries like Communist China and Mexico while leaving the Middle Class with scraps.

Trump imposed global reciprocal and universal tariffs that hit countries for their unfair trade practices that blocked American goods from entering their markets.

Panic spread across Wall Street as the stock market as $6 trillion in wealth evaporated.

Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) was among a group of GOP Senators who sat for an interview with Sean Hannity to discuss the Trump agenda.

Kennedy discussed the tariffs, telling Hannity that there is broad agreement across America that these globalist trade deals shortchanged the American worker.

“I want to say a word, though, about tariffs because that’s sort of the fourth leg of this stool,” Kennedy stated. “I think most fair-minded people would agree with this.”

Kennedy went on to say that there was also broad agreement for President Trump to stand up to the cheaters in international trade.

“Other countries have used trade barriers to take advantage of the American people and American businesses. Number two, President Trump has said ‘Enough,’” Kennedy added.

But thanks to Trump’s tariffs, there are now more than 70 countries banging on the door of the White House begging Trump to renegotiate trade deals so they can escape the tariffs.

“We would not be in this situation today had he not been a Pitbull. By that, I mean there are 195 countries in the world, and 70 are begging him to make a deal to lower tariffs,” Kennedy continued.

Kennedy wrapped up by saying Trump is the proverbial dog who caught the car, as righting the wrongs of trade deals has been a passion of Trump’s dating back to the late 1980s.

And Kennedy urged Trump to showcase his negotiating skills and hammer out trade deals that will eliminate the unfair practices that undercut American workers and incentivize companies to ship their manufacturing jobs overseas.

“He’s like the Pitbull, though, who caught the car,” Kennedy concluded. “I don’t know what the president’s going to do next … I hope he takes a deal. I hope he and Scott Bessent go to every one of those countries and reduce those tariffs and trade barriers down to zero and let American businesses compete with those foreign businesses. Competition makes us better.”
