John Kennedy shut down this reporter with just two words that had everyone but the reporter laughing

An NBC reporter teed the most entertaining man in the Senate up but wasn’t smart enough to even regret it when Senator John Kennedy drove the green on him.

Louisiana Senator John Kennedy rarely minces words when he’s dealing with the media.

The colorful Kennedy clearly doesn’t suffer fools gladly.

And John Kennedy shut down this reporter with just two words that had everyone but the reporter laughing.

John Kennedy mocks a clueless NBC reporter’s bias

Tragedy struck in New Orleans, Louisiana on New Year’s Day when an ISIS-inspired terrorist plowed his truck into a crowd celebrating on Bourbon Street.

15 people were killed in the terrorist attack, and dozens were injured.

U.S. Senator John Kennedy (R-LA) was in New Orleans to give the media an update on the situation.

During his remarks, he made one quip that flew right over the head of a reporter at the press conference.

A reporter told Kennedy that NBC News was “over here on the right.”

Without missing a beat Kennedy responded with, “That’s an unusual position,” which drew laughs from those in attendance.

“I don’t get it,” the reporter replied.

“You wouldn’t,” Kennedy said as he turned to call on someone else.

Kennedy cracked a funny joke to lighten the mood, but his remark sparked outrage from angry leftists on social media who can’t take a joke.

John Kennedy ready to raise hell with the outgoing Biden administration

Kennedy didn’t hold back at all during the press conference.

He promised to “raise fresh hell” if the people of New Orleans didn’t get answers from the federal government.

“Here’s what I want to ask from the federal government: Catch these people,” Kennedy said. “And then tell the American people the truth.”

A New Orleans field office FBI agent initially said that it wasn’t a terrorist attack before she was contradicted at the same press conference by the New Orleans Mayor who said it was.

“Now, I don’t want you to tell us yet anything that’s going to interfere with your investigation,” Kennedy stated. “But after we get to the bottom of this, they need to tell the American people the truth. And the people of New Orleans the truth.”

Kennedy put the Biden administration on notice by warning them he wouldn’t let them let up on getting answers.

“I guess my final point is, I will promise you this,” Kennedy declared. “When it is appropriate and this investigation is complete, you WILL find out what happened and who is responsible, or I will raise fresh hell, and I will chase those in the federal government who are responsible for telling us what happened like they stole Christmas.”

Kennedy has a valid point.

Mystery still surrounds the first assassination attempt against President-elect Donald Trump at a campaign rally last July 13 in Butler, Pennsylvania.

The FBI hasn’t come clean with the public about key details of what happened that tragic day.

President Joe Biden is leaving the White House in days, but he’s leaving the country in a more dangerous place as he exits.
