The Deep State just got caught with their pants down in the most un-American way possible.
What they did to sitting US senators will make your blood boil.
And John Kennedy unleashed absolute fury after one Jack Smith revelation that left him questioning America itself.
The phone spying scandal that has Republicans seeing red
Republican Louisiana Senator John Kennedy didn’t mince words when he learned what former special counsel Jack Smith allegedly pulled off behind closed doors.
Smith reportedly monitored the phone calls and personal messages of multiple Republican senators during his witch hunt investigation into President Donald Trump’s efforts to contest the rigged 2020 election.
The targets included heavy hitters like Josh Hawley of Missouri, Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, and Tommy Tuberville of Alabama – all sitting United States senators who were doing their constitutional duty.
Kennedy appeared on Fox Business’s "The Bottom Line" and let loose with both barrels blazing.
"When I first heard about this story, I thought it was satire. I thought it was some nonsense on TikTok. I’m appalled. It’s unconscionable. It really is breathtaking," Kennedy stated.¹
But Kennedy was just getting warmed up.
He dropped the hammer on exactly what Smith accomplished with his police state tactics.
"This is a special counsel of the Department of Justice who sought and received the phone records of eight sitting United States senators. The telephone companies just turned them over," Kennedy explained.²
Kennedy exposes the smoking gun that proves Deep State coordination
Here’s what should make every American furious – nobody has any idea what legal justification Smith had for going after these senators.
Kennedy pointed out the terrifying reality of how this surveillance operation went down.
"We have no idea what the predicate was — why the FBI and the Justice Department and Mr. Smith were asking for the records," Kennedy continued. "We only found out about it because of a whistleblower."³
Think about that for a moment.
The only reason Americans know their government was spying on elected representatives is because someone with a conscience stepped forward.
How many other Republican senators got the same treatment that we’ll never know about?
Kennedy wasn’t finished eviscerating Smith’s police state tactics.
"I’m shocked that Smith — I thought he was smarter than this. I mean, I’ve got rocks in my driveway that are smarter than this," Kennedy said.⁴
The Louisiana senator knows exactly what this surveillance operation really represents – the kind of authoritarian overreach you’d expect from a Third World dictatorship.
"This is the sort of thing that happens in a country whose Powerball jackpot is 287 chickens and a goat. This doesn’t happen in America," Kennedy stated.⁵
Kennedy demands accountability for the biggest political scandal since Watergate
Kennedy isn’t about to let Smith, Merrick Garland, and Christopher Wray slink away into the shadows after getting caught red-handed.
The senator called for "a separate hearing" featuring testimony from all three men who orchestrated this surveillance operation.
"Mr. Smith may plead the Fifth Amendment. If I were he, I probably would, because this is serious as four heart attacks and stroke," Kennedy said.⁶
But Kennedy knows the Deep State players might try to hide behind ongoing investigations to avoid accountability.
He explained that if the FBI and Department of Justice decide to prosecute, the Senate Judiciary Committee – where Kennedy serves – might need to "back off" rather than hold hearings.
Kennedy made it crystal clear that justice will be served one way or another.
"We’re going to get to the bottom of this and I can promise you this — I’ve talked to all eight of the senators," Kennedy stated. "You’re going to see some civil lawsuits filed, particularly against these telephone companies who just willingly turned over the records without trying to quash any subpoena that they got."⁷

The Deep State’s phone spying operation gets exposed by whistleblower
The surveillance operation was part of something called the "Arctic Frost probe" and allegedly focused on calls regarding Republican senators’ plans to challenge the certification of the rigged 2020 electoral votes.
In other words, Smith was spying on senators for doing exactly what Democrats did after Trump won in 2016 – questioning election results.
The phone records were actually analyzed by nine Republican lawmakers, including eight senators and one House representative – specifically GOP Sens. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee, Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, Josh Hawley of Missouri, Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming, Bill Hagerty of Tennessee, Dan Sullivan of Alaska, Tommy Tuberville of Alabama, and GOP Rep. Mike Kelly of Pennsylvania.
FBI Deputy Director Dan Bongino briefed Republican lawmakers on the discovery and made it clear that this kind of surveillance represented exactly the weaponization that Trump promised to end.
"It is a disgrace that I have to stand on Capitol Hill and reveal this — that the FBI was once weaponized to track the private communications of U.S. lawmakers for political purposes," Bongino told Fox News Digital. "That era is over."⁸
Republican Senator Charles Grassley of Iowa posted the FBI document on X that included the list of senators who were targeted by Smith’s surveillance operation.
"BIDEN FBI WEAPONIZATION = WORSE THAN WATERGATE," Grassley wrote.⁹
Look, here’s what this really comes down to – Jack Smith and his Deep State cronies thought they could spy on Republican senators like some kind of banana republic secret police.
They got caught because a whistleblower had enough of a conscience to expose their authoritarian tactics.
Kennedy is absolutely right to demand accountability from Smith, Garland, and Wray.
For folks who still believe in constitutional government, this surveillance scandal should be the final proof that the Deep State will stop at nothing to destroy anyone who stands up to their radical agenda.
The telephone companies that rolled over and handed these records to Smith without a fight deserve to get sued into oblivion.
And every American should be asking themselves – if they’ll spy on sitting U.S. senators, what exactly are they doing to the rest of us?
