Joe Biden offers nothing in wake of terrorist attack
President Joe Biden was nowhere to be found for hours following an ISIS-organized terrorist attack in the crowded streets of New Orleans on New Year’s Eve which killed 15 people.
When he finally decided to make an appearance – roughly 16 hours following the terrible event – he spoke for just four minutes and delivered no new information or reassurances for Americans.
Biden merely repeated information that Americans already knew – that the terrorist was a former member of the United States Army, and that he had pledged his allegiance to ISIS.
By the time he finished repeating what he had seen on television, Biden refused to accept any questions from reporters and proceeded to wander out of the room.
On a recent airing of her Fox News show, Judge Jeanine Pirro argued that Joe Biden’s “press conference” made her feel extremely embarrassed.
The Five’s left-wing co-host Jessica Tarlov disagreed with Pirro, contending that she believed Donald Trump’s response to be more embarrassing.
She made the false claim that Donald Trump was accusing illegal aliens of being responsible for the terrorist attack, noting that the person who delivered the attack was an American citizen.
“When you say, ‘I’m embarrassed watching Joe Biden,’ I’m not embarrassed seeing someone stand up there and say, ‘Let’s wait for some facts here,’ because Donald Trump went out there and he said…” ranted Tarlov before she was fact-checked by Pirro.
“No, he assured Americans all was well,” Pirro stepped in.
Tarlov attempted to argue that Biden did exactly what was expected to do in this type of situation.
“No, listen to all of the comments that he made and the statements which said we need to make sure we have the right facts, and the right facts were that the guy in New Orleans was an American,” responded Tarlov. “He wasn’t an illegal.”
Pirro shrugged off Tarlov’s bogus claim, noting that she was reinventing what Donald Trump had said with a completely fabricated claim.
“No one’s saying he wasn’t,” Pirro fired back.
“That’s not true!” shouted Tarlov in the exchange.
The fact is that Donald Trump had never stated that the terror attack was the fault of illegal immigration.
What Trump had said was the fact that there are known terrorists that are making their way into the country over the border illegally, and that border patrol agents have caught roughly 400 individuals at the border that had been named by the terror watch list.
He also noted that this was taking place during Biden’s tenure in the White House and that these jihadists are far worse than anyone could hope to imagine.
The terrorists that are crossing into the United States illegally bring their radical Islamic ideology that helps radicalize some Americans – including people like the terrorist from the New Orleans attack – and inspire them to deliver these horrific attacks in the name of ISIS.
“When I said that the criminals coming in are far worse than the criminals we have in our country, that statement was constantly refuted by Democrats and the Fake News Media, but it turned out to be true,” Trump had posted on Truth Social.
“Our hearts are with all of the innocent victims and their loved ones, including the brave officers of the New Orleans Police Department. The Trump Administration will fully support the City of New Orleans as they investigate and recover from this act of pure evil!” continued President-elect Trump.
