Authoritarians and would-be dictators and despots in the Democrat Party want total control over the American people and they’re giving every indication they’ll happily do whatever it takes to make it happen.
The recent mass shooting carried out by a mentally-deranged man in Lewiston, Maine has, as expected, kicked Democrats’ quest to repeal the Second Amendment into high gear.
Following one of Democrats’ woke ten commandments to “never allow a serious crisis go to waste,” President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have both gone out of their way to use the tragedy as a pretext for carrying out their goal of eliminating all private firearm ownership in America.
But rather than take the typical Democrat route of providing lip service about carrying about the right to self-defense and the Second Amendment, Harris just dove head first into pushing for the total confiscation of all firearms from law-abiding Americans.
“Doug and I mourn for those who were killed. We pray for those who were injured, and grieve with so many whose lives are forever changed and impacted by what happened,” Harris said. “The Biden-Harris Administration will continue to provide full support to local authorities, and as we gather details, we must continue to speak the truth about the moment we are in.”
The Vice President even went so far as to push Democrats’ completely-fabricated talking point that “the leading cause of death of American children is gun violence.”
Of course, according to the actual facts, infant mortality is the leading cause of death for American children, and takes significantly more lives than firearms.
“Gun violence has terrorized and traumatized so many of our communities in this country,” Harris added. “And let us be clear, it does not have to be this way as our friends in Australia have demonstrated.”
Democrats often point to countries like Australia, that have previously banned and confiscated all firearms from law-abiding citizens, as the model for what they want to bring to America.
After a 1996 mandatory firearm buyback program, more than 600,000 firearms were confiscated from law-abiding citizens by the Australian government, which stripped law-abiding citizens of their rights to own firearms and declared that even self-defense was not a justifiable excuse for using or possessing a firearm at any time.
But this is the type of insanity Democrats want to bring to America, rather than actually addressing the actual causes of gun violence that have been forced on America through their woke extremist policies.
They want to render every American completely defenseless as they simultaneously pass pro-crime laws that actively promote more violence and crime by turning America’s judicial and prison systems into a revolving door that allows proven, repeat, violent offenders to be arrested and released back onto the streets to continue committing crimes – often that same day.
And the Biden regime will stop at nothing to completely wipe out the Second Amendment and anything else that dares stand in the way of their woke extremist takeover of America.
