As if it’s even possible Kamala Harris has somehow become a bigger failure than Joe Biden.
She’s even managed an approval rating lower than Biden’s — and every other Vice President in American history.
Now Kamala Harris has egg on her face after this Democrat revealed the truth about her Big Lie.
Since Florida Governor Ron DeSantis sent 48 illegal aliens to the left-wing elitist playground of Martha’s Vineyard, the Biden border crisis has finally been getting attention — albeit, far less than such a national security and humanitarian crisis should.
As a result, the Biden regime has been attempting to do damage control, deflecting from the border crisis they caused by ridiculously accusing Governor DeSantis, and other Republican Governors who send illegal aliens to “sanctuary jurisdictions,” of “kidnapping” and “human trafficking.”
And with so many other failures already on voters’ minds six weeks from November’s Midterm elections, no Democrat in America has missed the opportunity to make such accusations.
That includes Vice President Kamala Harris, who is supposed to be the Biden regime’s “border czar.”
Last week, during an interview — which is rare for either Harris or Biden — with Meet The Press’ Chuck Todd, the Vice President proudly proclaimed “the border is secure.”
That comment came in spite of the fact that a record of more than 2 million illegal aliens have been apprehended after walking across the border each year since the Biden regime came into power.
But another of the Democrats who have rushed to attack Governor DeSantis to deflect from the Biden border crisis has now admitted that Harris’ claim couldn’t be further from the truth.
Doing the so-called “mainstream” media rounds after launching a politically motivated witch hunt against DeSantis, Democrat Sheriff Julio Salazar of Bexar County, Texas, rightly ripped Harris’ claim that “the border is secure while pointing out that Democrat politicians in Washington, D.C. have no idea how bad the situation at the border actually is.
“I don’t think that the border is as secure as the folks in D.C. might believe,” Salazar admitted to CNN. “You know, I’ve talked to lots of my fellow Sheriffs here in the state of Texas — Republican and Democrat. With regard to Texas’ Sheriffs, it’s not about Red or Blue with us, it’s about the gold on our badge and it’s about the knowledge that if any part of our state — in other words, our little piece of the pie, our county — is weak, then the whole state is weak. So we work together really well across party lines.”
On top of that, Salazar took a swipe at both President Biden and Vice President Harris for not visiting the border, saying that he’s even invited them multiple times, yet they continue to ignore the situation and pretend it will be fine.
“And yeah, I think if the White House came down and got an eye on Texas and saw firsthand, which is what I’ve been asking them to do for awhile, come down here and get an eye on the problem, I would beg to differ,” Salazar explained. “I don’t think that the border is as secure as what folks are maybe telling them. With that being said, I think there’s some solutions to be had, but it’s going to start with somebody from D.C. making the trip down here and talking to us.”
Of course, Salazar isn’t the only border state Democrat readily admitting that Democrats in Washington, D.C. have been lying to the American people for years.
Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX) recently admitted on CNN that “The border is not secure, with all due respect to the VP. We get thousands of people along the border, at least 6 to 8 thousand people a day.”
But unless the American people send a loud and clear message to the Biden regime and national Democrats in November’s Midterms, they’ll just keep pretending their border crisis doesn’t exist.
