Your average food cafeteria serving lady has at least twice the political acumen of Vice President Kamala Harris.
Now she’s committed one new mind-bending political blunder.
And it’s bad enough to seal her legacy as “worst VP ever.”
Being Vice President should be so drop-dead simple nobody who reaches that type of national political prominence should be able to mess it up.
But Kamala Harris has been breaking new ground when it comes to failing spectacularly.
Somehow, Joe Biden’s handlers decided it would be a brilliant idea to make Harris the Biden regime’s “Border Czar.”
Now, thanks to her total lack of anything resembling leadership and executive action, America is in the middle of its worst humanitarian crisis ever as the southern border has become completely meaningless.
A tsunami of illegal aliens and dangerous drugs—including fentanyl—are surging over the now meaningless line of our southern border.
Meanwhile, as “Border Czar” Harris has been careful to avoid doing anything that might actually help her take on her assigned role seriously including actually visiting the numerous disaster zones along thousands of miles of border in person.
In fact, she’s only made one brief trip to El Paso, Texas.
Instead of doing her job, Harris has reverted to lying to the press claiming that “the border is secure.”
Now, Harris is bound for Texas again—the state with the longest stretch of border in the nation—but once again she’s refusing to do her job and actually step foot near the border.
Instead, she’s busy playing politics by headlining a major fundraiser for Democrats in Austin, Texas as they make a final push before the midterm elections.
Instead of dealing with a massive humanitarian crisis of her administration’s creation, Harris will be hobnobbing with pro-abortion activists at the Johnson-Jordon Reception where attendees will be making “suggested” donations of between $25 and $10,000.
When the New York Post asked, a Texas Democrat source told the paper there’s no news of a planned trip to the southern border.
That news has Republicans blowing up as they’ve reached their limit dealing with the unprecedented border crisis.
“In a few days, Vice President Harris is going to visit Texas, but she’s going to Austin to fundraise,” Rep. Tony Gonzales (R-TX) said.
“I don’t understand why the Vice President just won’t take an hour plane ride to the border and just listen, talk to people, just show up and say, ‘Hey, we are here to help.’ Just say, ‘The administration hasn’t abandoned you’ … something!” Gonzalez exclaimed.
Gonzales’ district covers one of the areas in Texas completely overwhelmed by the flow of more than four million illegal aliens who have poured into the country since the Biden/Harris administration took over.
Somehow Harris can summon the ambition to show up to raise money for Democrats, but doing her actual job is clearly out of the question.
Her astounding avoidance of work is incredible considering that the border crisis has to be top of mind since Texas Governor Greg Abbott has been dropping illegal aliens outside her official Vice-Presidential residence in Washington, D.C.
But her audacity knows no bounds.
“The only place ‘Border Czar’ VP Kamala Harris should be visiting in Texas is the disaster-area formerly known as the US-Mexico border,” Rep. August Pfluger (R-TX) argued recently. “It is unbelievable that this administration has the gall to face the people of Texas who they have abandoned and ask for money.”
Harris’ absolute refusal to deal with the border crisis is one of the reasons she’s turned herself into the least popular Vice President in 50 years.
