Joe Biden picking Kamala Harris as his running mate is nothing more than pandering.
Harris was selected as a ploy to try and bring out black voters for the Democrats.
But it isn’t going as planned now that Kamala Harris just said three words about the black community that have Americans shocked.
President Donald Trump has broken ground with criminal justice reform and shown his support to the black community.
While Joe Biden is forced to watch himself lose the historically Democrat voting bloc, President Trump is gaining support from black voters rapidly.
Of course, after saying things like someone “ain’t black” if they vote Trump, it really shouldn’t come as any surprise that Biden is hemorrhaging support from African Americans.
Kamala Harris was selected specifically to try and help Biden with this problem.
But her latest attempt at trying to rally the black community came off poorly.
When asked an out-of-place question about rap music in a recent interview with CNN’s Angela Rye, Harris claimed Tupac Shakur is the “best rapper alive.”
Tupac Shakur was shot and killed back in 1996.
The exchange that followed was nothing less than awkward.
“He’s not alive,” Rye said. “Listen, west coast girls think Tupac lives on, I’m with you. I’m with you,” she continued trying to make things less awkward.
“I keep doing that,” Harris replied.
“Um, who would I say? I mean, there’s so many,” Harris said as she drifted off into a dazed and confused look. “I mean, you know, I – there are some that I, I, I would not mention right now, because they should stay in their lane, but, um, others, I . . . go on. Keep moving.”
The Biden campaign seems to think Harris being black is enough to haul in the black vote in November.
The chances of that happening will only get lower if she continues to reveal herself as a fraud on national television.
Harris comes with a ton of baggage that drives a rift of mistrust in the black community – namely her record as a prosecutor where she jailed record numbers of African Americans for minor drug offenses.
Maybe picking Kamala Harris wasn’t the big move the Democrats thought it was for 2020.
