It seems like the Democrats would learn their lesson at some point.
Attacking Ron DeSantis is never a good decision.
And Kamala Harris launched one attack against Ron DeSantis that she instantly regretted.
The Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade continues to fill Democrats with rage.
Vice President Kamala Harris recently traveled to Tallahassee, Florida, to give a speech supporting abortion on demand on the 50th anniversary of the Roe decision.
But Harris’ trip didn’t get off to a smooth start, as the state rejected the public rally she initially planned to hold with Planned Parenthood at the Capitol building.
After that, Florida State rejected Harris’ request to hold an event at the campus, forcing the Vice President to settle on a small local music venue in the area where she required attendees to sign a statement about their vaccination status.
During her speech, Harris accused DeSantis of attacking freedom by supporting restrictions on abortions, like the 15-week abortion ban he signed into law.
“Can we truly be free if so-called leaders claim to be quote, I quote, on the ‘vanguard of freedom’ while they dare to restrict the rights of the American people and attack the very foundations of freedom?” Harris said.
She then claimed DeSantis is attacking the foundation of freedom by defending the sanctity of life.
“Can we truly be free if a woman cannot make decisions about her own body? Can we truly be free if a doctor cannot care for her patients? Can we truly be free if families cannot make intimate decisions about the course of their own lives?” Harris said.
Of course, Harris has no problems telling a woman what they must do with their bodies when it comes to masks and vaccine mandates.
Harris also declared that the administration was preparing to circumvent the Supreme Court ruling by expanding access to abortion pills nationwide.
Under Biden’s FDA, pharmacists are now allowed to pass out abortion pills like candy without a prescription or a doctor’s approval.
Florida law requires a prescription to receive abortion pills.
But Harris took a trip to Florida to attack DeSantis and push the regime’s abortion on demand policies.
