Joe Biden’s Presidency is on the rocks.
Biden called on Kamala Harris for help.
But Kamala Harris made one major mistake that could cost the Democrats big time.
Even though Joe Biden put Kamala Harris in charge of the border back in March, instead of securing the border, Harris focused on finding the “root cause” of the problem.
As a result of her failure, Harris has the lowest approval rating of any Vice President in history.
That’s why she took a break from the public view to work with a spin squad of Hillary Clinton advisers to improve her image.
Kamala Harris is back in the public spotlight to try to help Democrats in Virginia, where the Governor’s race is the most important election in the nation.
Right now, former Clinton fixer Terry McAuliffe and Republican businessman Glenn Youngkin are running neck-and-neck in the polls.
With Democrats facing a potential defeat, the Biden administration called on Kamala Harris to help McAuliffe.
Harris created a video for 300 black churches in Virginia to show to their congregation before Election Day.
However, the Johnson Amendment specifically prohibits tax-exempt churches from endorsing one candidate over another.
And Johnathan Turley, a constitutional law professor at George Washington University, says that Harris’ video breaches the law since it will be broadcast in churches.
Of course, Harris’ move only shows how desperate the Biden administration is to avert a humiliating loss in Virginia while their legislative plans hang by a thread in Congress.
Biden knows if McAuliffe loses Virginia, moderate Democrats will be hesitant to support the $3.5 trillion socialist “infrastructure” spending bill.
But Harris making a video to show in churches, which is a direct violation of the Johnson Amendment, could only make the situation worse.
And it will also likely make most vulnerable Democrats wary of accepting her assistance in 2022.
