Polls continue to indicate that the Presidential race will likely come down to just thousands of votes in several key battleground states.
With such a tight race unfolding, both campaigns are fully aware that just one misstep could cost them the White House.
And that’s why Kamala Harris is secretly spending billions of taxpayer dollars on this illegal scheme to defeat Donald Trump.
Rand takes another big stand
Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) recently penned a letter to the Chief of the Department of Justice’s Public Integrity Section, Corey Amundson, in which he accused the Biden-Harris regime of violating the Hatch Act, a law designed to prevent government employees from engaging in political activity in their official capacity.
According to Senator Paul, the regime is illegally using $5 billion in taxpayer money in order to stave off Medicare premium increases kicked off by the Biden-Harris regime’s so-called “Inflation Reduction Act,” thereby preventing millions of senior citizens who rely on Medicare from finding out that the regime is forcing them to pay more out of pocket for medical expenses before Election Day.
“My colleagues and I are concerned that the Biden-Harris Administration is inappropriately using taxpayer funds to mask the defective Medicare Part D policies enacted as part of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) of 2022 (P.L. 117-169),” Paul wrote.
“Given the IRA’s central role in the Biden-Harris Administration’s presidential campaign, these concerns warrant additional investigation,” he added.
The Kentucky Senator noted that Medicare premiums were set to increase in October as part of the so-called “Inflation Reduction Act,” but those increases conveniently never happened right before senior citizens headed to the polls.
“Additionally, Medicare Part D premiums were expected to rise even higher this year when open enrollment begins in October,” Paul pointed out.
“Yet, the Biden-Harris Administration very deliberately initiated a demonstration program to address rising costs for seniors only in an election year,” he continued.
Democrats’ secret October surprise?
Of course, it was Vice President Kamala Harris who in her role as the President of the Senate, cast the tie-breaking vote on the so-called “Inflation Reduction Act.”
So it would come as no surprise to anyone who has paid attention that the Democrat regime would be doing everything it can to prevent the consequences of Kamala’s tie-breaking vote from turning into an October surprise that could wreck her Presidential campaign.
And as Senator Paul pointed out, the American people have a right to know whether the Biden-Harris regime is using billions of their tax dollars to payoff insurance companies in order to help Kamala’s Presidential campaign.
“Kamala Harris cast the tie-breaking vote to pass the Inflation Reduction Act, which is now driving up seniors’ health care premiums,” Paul noted. “Americans deserve to know if Biden and Harris are now illegally handing taxpayer funds to insurance companies in order to hide those premium increases right as seniors head to vote.”
According to the latest poll conducted by The New York Times and Siena College Research Institute, Kamala is currently leading former President Donald Trump by four points nationally.
And that four point lead is largely built on the idea that Kamala is holding a three-point lead with senior citizens after Trump won the senior vote by seven points in 2020.
But as Rand Paul is pointing out, it could all be because the Biden-Harris regime is running an illegal scheme to boost Kamala Harris’ Presidential campaign.
