Biden traveled to Mexico City recently.
The trip will make it look like the Biden administration is doing something about the border, where the situation is growing worse by the day.
Nearly two million illegal aliens have already entered the country in 2021, with a caravan of 60,000 Haitian illegal aliens currently marching toward the border.
Meanwhile, drug cartels are firing rounds directly above National Guard observation positions.
It’s gotten so bad that polls show the border crisis is Joe Biden’s biggest vulnerability.
Joe Biden scheduled a meeting between top administration officials and Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador to give the appearance of trying to solve the crisis.
However, Border Czar Kamala Harris was noticeably absent from the meeting.

Several top members of the Biden administration were in Mexico City on Friday for a meeting with Mexican officials regarding security along the U.S.-Mexico border. But Vice President Kamala Harris wasn’t among them.
Harris, whom President Biden appointed in March to manage the U.S. response to the migrant crisis along the border, went to New Jersey instead.
Attending Friday’s high-level talks in Mexico’s capital were Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas and U.S. Attorney General Merrick Garland.
Harris understands that open borders are one of the top features of the Biden regime’s immigration policy.
Biden and the Democrats are encouraging illegal aliens to rush across the border so the next amnesty bill will create a massive pool of new Democrat Party voters.
But Biden’s open-border policy is wildly unpopular with voters.
Harris doesn’t want to be linked to the catastrophe at the border in order to preserve her future political viability.
That’s why she visited a daycare in New Jersey instead of going to the border dog and pony show.
